This Thursday the Amsterdam Tournament starts in the Amsterdam Arena.
The host is of course Ajax and the other teams are Liverpool, AC Milan and Valencia!
Yes, some great names that will compete with each other for the Tournament win.
Program:
Ajax - AC Milan 26/7 19.00u
Valencia - Liverpool 26/7 21.15u
Valencia - AC Milan 28/7 18.30u
Ajax - Liverpool 28/7 20.45u
Personally I'm looking forward to the match Ajax-Liverpool, should be nice to watch.
The whole tournament is worth seeing though :D
The Ajax-matches can be seen live on Dutch television on SBS 6.
Last year Ajax finished second behind Barcelona and after they won against Arsenal with 3-1.
What do you guys think, who will become the winner in Amsterdam this weekend and why?
It's a test for all teams to see how far they are with preparing for their competitions and it's a final test for Ajax before they play against Celtic for the CL ticket. Exciting times!

07/24/2001. AC Milan boss Fatih Terim spoke to reporters today about the upcoming Amsterdam tournament before flying to Istanbul to attend a friend’s funeral.
“ Everyday things are improving. We now started to combine athletic work with technical one. However we are only at the beginning, and it will be very hard to face Ajax and Valencia after just a few days of work. They will be very important tests for me to see what level we have reached,” said Terim.
The Amsterdam tournament begins on Friday. Liverpool are also participating in the friendly event, together with Ajax, Valencia, and AC Milan.
