I'd probably say Maradona, he directly contributed to Argentina's two world cups whereas Pele was underage for the first Brasilian championship (didn't play) and was injured for the third one.

Maradona's goal in 86 against england was the greatest goal ever scored. He beat 6 players starting from midfield. It was an amazing goal by him.

The reason why you should vote for Maradona is because he was the reason for success of his teams. Look at Napoli! Without him, they would never had 2 italian championships and one UEFAcup.

He basically one handedly won everything for his teams.

In '86, "one-handedly" was quite literal. Bah.

In my opinion, Pelé and Di Stéfano integrated great teams (Brasil 70 and Real Madrid)and the best things they did it in those glorious teams.
Maradona won the world cup in 1986 with a good team, and Maradona was called the best player of the world.
In 1990, he played with both ankles (and a finger) injuried; Argentinas team was awfull, but Maradona and Caniggia brougth Argentina to the final game. (Lost because of an error of the referee)
Then, Maradona did what he did in Napoli. Diego succeded not only with great temmates, but also took a poor and weak italian team to the top of european football.
You can say what you like about his private life, but I am talking about the best player I ever saw on a footbal field: Diego Armando Maradona
