Basically the problem is that I was using the Fifa Big FAT and it was working fine, then today it wasn't. When I logged in today the shortcut didn't work so I checked the file where the big FAT program was, and it was empty- even though I definitely didn't delete it. Then to make matters worse I went on to Fifa Russia to download the file again, but when I try to extract it with WinRAR it doesn't work and I get an error. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

Edit: If someone has a version that definitely unzips from WinRAR could they possibly upload to filefront?

I have the same problem. Today my Fifa bigfat dissappeared too. I have no clue how to solve that problem. I didn't delete it. Anyway i don't know where i downloaded the Fifa bigfat. Anyone that could help?

Thanks for the response mate, its good to know that I'm not the only one. I don't understand how it can just vanish once it's been downloaded. Did you follow the link in the 'fifa fat limit broken' thread? as that is the same as where I go it from. That takes you to the Fifa Russia website.

Have you tried redownloading the file and seeing if it'll work again for you? when i try to unzip mine it won't do it.

I downloaded it again. It was indeed the Russian Fifasite. Well the same for me, it doesn't unpack the fifafat anymore... Well it makes if it would unpack it, but in the end the folder is empty... Maybe we have installed to much with the Creation Master, and have to delete some things? Coz the "unlimited bigfat" is not really unlimited...

Exactly what I got, it made to unpack and then didn't. I even opened the file in WinRAR and tried just to unzip the .exe file but an error came up.

You mention the FAT limit- I didn't think mine was too big, but i'll check in filemaster to see. Can you try to find out how much you've got as well so we can make a comparison.

Edit: I make mine 2,918- that is stuff that i've added, not including what is in the game by default.

I thought the new limit was 5,000 roughly with the unlimited FAT but i'm not sure.

Another thing that i've thought, if we've broken the limit then surely the file should still unzip and then not work when we try to run the program?

Well i think i have a bigger size of my fifa fat... I have added "tons" of faces. No, really a lot of faces. And added some new teams, so i think the max. capacity could be reached. But i don't understand that from one day to the other, the bigfat has "gone". And no possibility to unpack it again. Well but honestly, i think the forum here is dead... :D Or nb knows a solution to that problem.

And maybe it's not possible to run 4 the bigfat, when the max. capacity is full? Perhaps he doesn't recognize it anymore, when it's over those 5000.(even the unpack thing will not work in that case anymore).

I can't believe that this has only just happened to both of us, it must have affected others.

It seems so... Well i unpacked it on an other Pc, and i got a Trojan Horse Virus warning. Maybe there is sth wrong with the Bigfat. Perhaps they changed it on the Russian Fifasite. I have some Bigfat fix...

so have you actually successfully extracted the .exe file? If so could you please put it on filefront and send me a link as i could really do with the big FAT. btw, what is the bigfat fix you have?

Letzebuerger, don't know if you're still reading this but i tried unpacking on another pc as well. It unpacked successfully so i put the file on a USB stick and tried to transfer to my laptop. I saw the file but then it was deleted without me touching any buttons!! Don't get this at all.

No i didn't get it unpacked. I have no solution 4 this...

Does there exists another site to download the Fifa bigfat? With the fifasoccer.ru bigfat it doesn't work anymore...

Well the only news i have is that i left the file on my USB stick, and when i took it to school to do some work that was also on there it was deleted. It was showing up as a trojan.

I've looked on google- the 1st page of results anyway and the big fat is on filefront but it's the same file as on fifa russia. Also i'm denied permission when i try to download it. I tried to PM thegood, who worked on this but he hasn't replied. You could try contacting the creators on the main site of fifasoccer.ru.

For the moment all i can do is start again and just install around 1000 files before the normal fat on the game crashes. It's a shame as they'll be loads of things that i can't use.

Yep like i thought. It just exists one bigfat... On the fifasoccer.ru. Hmm, well i won't delete all, and install all again. It's just a game, i don't play in that case anymore.

Just saw this thread... depending on your Virus proggie, bigfat will show up as a virus and will be deleted upon contact. It maybe that your virus proggie has been recently updated and has suddenly 'discovered' the bigfat (which is not a virus) and as soon as it unzips on your machine, it gets deleted. Try selecting your Fifa folder as aone that is not selected for virus scanning (exempt) then put the bigfat file there, unzip and you should be good to go. hope this helps (albeit belatedly).

Thanks for the advice Keegan. I managed to get it to work when i disabled my anti-virus so thats definitely the problem. Problem is i don't know how to exempt a folder from scanning. I've currently got norton 360 although it expires soon. Any ideas how i can exempt it with that?

Thx Keegan, i will try that. I have Norton 360 too now, before i had another one. Norton 360 is kinda annoying...

If you guys can get Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition you'll be good to go. It doesn't see bigfat as a virus, updates regularly amd doesn't annoy you with twenty questions everytime something happens. I don't know anything about Norton 360, so I can't help there.

Thanks anyway Keegan. I can just disable my anti-virus when i want to use the game and then put it back on so its ok. And yeah, 360 is annoying, always try to scan or back up something.
