Started playing fifa 09 last nite for the first time (xbox360). Played about 6 games (7min half) and I by the end of it I was buggered... I actually lost my last game 4-1 on legend level

The pace of game is amazing, it's so frenetic that after playing 14min game you are tired...

I love the changes to the goalkeeper, he no longer hangs onto the ball when you want to attack... You can attack much easier on the break now too, it's as if the game is no longer holding you back from doing what you want with the ball.

I just thrashed Ajax with Man United on Pro level, haven't tried Legend yet. Overall the gameplay is good and players will take chances from distance (watch out).

Yeah it's much harder this year, although fifa 08 was hard at first too. But I'm finding if you have any sort of lapse in concentration they punish you.. and that's how it should be.

No joke there. The CPU really utilizes the long pass and midfielders like Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Nedved, Kaka, and even Zambrotta will take long shots on you if you leave them any space ;)

Actually that for the concentration works for the PC as well. Seems to be a pretty decent game :).

I woke up 9am to get to the shop 10am, to be first. :D And Now I got it.. Will come back with mine impressions!:)

I'm so satisfied. What a game.

I really like that you can hit the ref with ball, I got a perfect shot after the ball hit the ref. :P

Now Im doing a season with my cousin, he is Barca (blah!) and I'm Atlético Madrid. He is leading just 1-0 to Numancia.. It's a very tough game actually. So it's a real game I think. You can do a lot. And you can get some fantastic shots.

I really like the edit mode too. Too bad we can't add stadiums, because I would love to have Ullevaal Stadion here.

Shooting is the same, but if you set your keepers to World Class it's very realistic :).
