Hi guys, couldnt find a post relating to my question so here goes...

Ok so im at the end of my first season with Bolton, got to 8th in the league meaning ive made all my objectives and thought Im fine for the next season...but

Just before the new seasons started the board tells me I cant buy any new players due to restrictions - I saw I was over my salary limit by the very end of the season. The problem is I still have like $12mil in my transfer account - I sold Kevin Nolan for $16mil earlier in the season to have some money left but whenever I try to allocate some of that money (which has no use anymore since the season is over and might as well use the money for salaries) to the Salaries, in order for me to not be over budget with the Salaries it says the board has no Intention of allowing this!??

Why not? So eventhough I still have $12mil it means absolutely nothing and I will still suffer a loss just because my salaries are over by $1mil?? That makes no sense....How do i curb this? In my mind it makes perfect sense, if you have money in one area (which you cant use anymore since the season is over and no transfer money is necessary anymore) then why not allow me to cover up the other areas with that left-over money?

You can redirect some of the money from the transfer budget to the salary burdget. And if that's not enough... just try to get rid (even if it is for free) some of your highest paid benchwarmers. Remember to check your 2nd team, I remember I once had 3 with over 2mil p/a contrarcts each just sitting there for 3 seasons..!

Yeah thats what I thought initially as well...move some $$ over from transfers to Salaries but the board wont approve it. Even if I try to move only 2mil across when i have 12 mil available in transfers. My reserves are pretty cheap though....under a million for all of them. But even if I try to move like $1000 from transfers to salaries the same message comes up "the board has no intention of making these adjustments" (or something like that"

...any comments regarding my last post? Is there some limitation in the game that you cant move money around i.e transfers to salaries in your first season?
