View Full Version : Max Payne out in stores. Who has it and is going to buy it?
Jari Litmanen 29-07-2001, 09:35:PM Has anyone bought "Max Payne" yet? I think I might head for the shops tomorrow to get a copy. It has to be the best game I have ever seen it utilises technology used in the movie "The Matrix." For example it has replays, movie realistic textures and other new features never used in video games. I'm also very happy about the game it's the best Finnish video game on the international market.
You can find pictures at www.maxpayne.com (http://www.maxpayne.com)
here's one I found earlier :

Vishal 29-07-2001, 09:59:PM The game rules. I bought it and never seen such a game. I need a good pc though, pretty slow on my 550.
Luc Nilis 29-07-2001, 10:01:PM yeah,
I've heard about the game, looks pretty cool.
A friend of mine bought it yesterday? so i dont think i'm going buy, and instead borrow it from him for a while. :D
P.S: what's up Jari, long time no seen.
Jari Litmanen 29-07-2001, 10:06:PM Great to see you Luc Nilis ! Yeah it's been a while I've been to Nice/St. Tropez in France for my holidays. Just arrived today in Helsinki and I'm pleased the weather is good here as well 25 degrees. Finland is playing Belgium soon in Helsinki will you be coming to watch the match?
ShearerM4 30-07-2001, 11:49:AM yeah i'm sure gonna get it, it looks great
but i'm a bit worried bout if my PC can take or not but what the hell i'll still buy it looks so cool
Luc Nilis 30-07-2001, 02:04:PM yeah Jari,
i know what you mean, i'm also just back from my holiday in Spain. This afternoon it was in Belgium about 31 degrees. I'm really looking forward to the Finland-Belgium game(15/8 right?), but unfortunaly i can't come to Helsinki because i failed my exam of economy and i've got to do it again on 17/8.
But aslong Marc Wilmots is back and Belgium plays better than on their last 2 games, i'm quiet confident in a good result. :D ;)
Jari Litmanen 30-07-2001, 04:31:PM Shearerm4, I like your signature image it's real nice. Now I know what the new "FA Barclaycard Premiership" logo looks like.
Sad you can't come to the match Nilis. Talking about Nilis is he going to play he is a quality player. It'll be a tough game both teams are full of top class players. But with the home advantage I think we have the upper hand. It's yoour chance to revenge us after your defeat to us at home.
Luc Nilis 30-07-2001, 04:55:PM I know it's a shame, but somehow i'm guessing Luc Nilis wont be playing then...
Remember, he broke his leg in he's 2th Aston Villa game when he ran into Ipswich keeper Wright. And was forced to end his football carreer. :(
Just a match after he made a world class goal against Chelsea...
Jari Litmanen 30-07-2001, 05:14:PM Damn he was a great player I nevr knew he was out for good. I remember him getting injured maybe my age is getting to me. LOL
Flazor 30-07-2001, 05:26:PM As for Max Payne, even the minimum requirements look way too heavy for my 450MHZ comp but I guess I'll give it a try.
Remedy Entertainment have done a great job..
ShearerM4 30-07-2001, 05:33:PM Thanks Jari I appreciate that compliment
One question then, could anyone tell me what the minimum configurations for Max Payne are ? maybe you Jari ?
Flazor 30-07-2001, 05:43:PM I recall one of the minimum requirements was a 450MHZ "engine" :(..
FAO; you guys you already have it. Is it worth the money?
