Guys,

I have a saved game on my dad's PC that I wanted to transfer over to my PC and play.

Anyway I copied the save game on to my external HD and transfered it to my PC. So I tried loading it up and for some reason it's not letting me play the game where as on previous FM's and Champ managers this was ok.

Can anyone help at all?

maybe the game is saved with a patched FM and your pcs FM doesnt have the patch?

hmmmm could be that I guess...? Though i'm sure they both have the same patch but maybe different updated data files? Could that be it perhaps?

nah, once a new game is started the games DB isn't needed anymore, it's all in your saved game files. Dunno, really, I suppose you could try copying the whole saved stuff folder from my documents (My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009) if youre certain both installs are the same version.

Ok i'll give that a shot. Bloody annoying though as I was bringing the glory days back to Newcastle.....not that they've had many glory days!!
