The game plays fine but it isn't nearly as enjoyable at a mere 30fps.
When playing PES 2009, I get a constant 60fps which is so smooth.

Any way to raise my fps in Fifa ?
I'm playing the game with everything set to high. I've tried playing it a low and medium settings but its still 30fps.

So I've tried...
175.16
175.84
180.48
180.60 beta

All give me no more than 30fps. Is there something I'm missing ?

Hi, What are you using as a video card? How much memory do you have in your PC? No way of giving advice unless we know basic info about your computer.

GeForce 9600 GT 512MB
Intel® Core™2 E6300@1.86GHZ
1GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM
Windows XP Professional SP2

I've looked around and from what I've gathered, my processor seems to be the problem. Apparently its bottlenecking my graphics card.
Unless someone knows of another way around it

the game only utilizes one core. If you want, there is a program, I forgot what it was called but it allows the game to run on 2 cores making the fps much higher. You can also just bring up task manager and right click fifa09.exe and set affinity, check cpu 0 and 1, but you have to do that everysingle time you start the game.

I understand your problem but after 30 fps, it is physically impossible for the human eye to tell the difference between any fps rates, whether it be 35 or 105. So I am slightly confused. Youve got awesome specs so it should run well. Dont have any programs running alongside fifa. Download a 'game accelerator' which will boost your overall gaming experince by increasing certain aspects of the game engine.
