***fortune telling***

The date is the 8th of november, 2000. Time 10:00pm, all of the old trafford faithful leave the theatre of dreams with grand smiles across their faces. The Reds have just anniliated kyiv 6-0. With Yorke grabbing a brace, Cole getting another hat trick in europe and Barthez scoring on one of his trademark runs.

The Game looked over after just 15 minutes, as both yourke and cole making it 3-0.

barhtez finished off the first half rout with a great run from box to box. In the second half Sir Alex brought on the youngsters. With Rachubka going on as keeper and Barhtez shifting us to support Beckham in the Midfield. Luke Chadwick came on for giggs, and grabbed a pair of hat tricks.

Well another great european night at the theatre of dreams!

Yeah, we'll see about that one. Nothing would be finer than seeing Man Utd out after the first group phase.

Go Dynamo!

mmm...as someone who will be there on the night I think your 6-0 prediction is somewhat off the mark. Kiev are are great counter attacking team and could well cause us problems on the night...they have nothing to lose and we have it all to lose...so grow up and wait until tomorrow

Dasboot for one this post is a joke, of course I don't expect the score to be 6-0 that is why I added the part about Barthez.

Yes I have a great deal or respect for kiev remember when we won the treble how far they went, just to lose out to Bayern.

And Dasboot I will be at Old Trafford as well.

North Stand 1st tier 22 row

Nice one...North stand Tier 1 row 18...near scoreboard quadrant......If I upset you then I apologise...but you know what it is like...thought it was another wind up to get all the ABU's stirred up.
Tomorrow will be tough, they are a good side, and I hope we don't just bomb at them, they will love that.
Beers on me if you find me!

Im a united fan but i have a lot of respect for Kiev. Thier youth system is incredible, producing such fine players as Rebrov and Shevencko. I am scared that utd might lose but ill be cheering all the way!!! good luck lads i have faith in you!

Spartak Mosc. (Rus) 1 - 0 Real Madrid (Spa)
Shakhtar Don. (Ukr) 3 - 0 Arsenal (Eng)
woo-ho!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dynamo Kyiv and Spartak Moscow had the rivalry going on for 50 years and still going on. But never Dynamo played worse that Spartak... until now...... I like both teams, but you all still have to admit that without Sheva and Rebrov, Dynamo is not the same team.... Out of 48 million they got for both, they spentabout 8 on transfers (maybe less, but 4 million bucks went on Demetradze from Alania) and 40 ON THEIR ACADEMY. Plus, they are the most popular club in Ukraine, they usually win the title of the league without any problems (last year -- exception) and 18-year old kids usually play in Ukrainian Cup and CIS Cup (like that 5:0 loss to Skonto Riga)...... So these guys have a good future, but present is not that great as it used to be..... But will be better.

Another surprise -- Shakhtar. Another Ukrainian club who will give Dynamo a lot of concurention with a new coach Prokopenko who managed Rotor Volgograd for about 5-6 years. Ironically, the new coach of Rotor is also Ukrainian......

Arsenal only lost that game because it was pointless, half the team didn't want to go to Ukraine because Arsenal would still finish 1st even if they lost, half the team were reserves.
Oh yeah, Man U are going to lose!
Go Kiev!

I think the game will be tight, but I am confident of either a 2-1 or 3-1 scoreline.

I don't care what anyone says, when we have to win the Reds wins.

Arsenal good luck without Wiltord 8-)
