I like both of them. Sometimes a change in kit maker is exactly what a club needs. Staying with the same company can see them come up with some stale designs.
Personally I like the logo on the shoulder too. Normally it's raised and rubber and is a little different.
But a bit early for a 2009/10 kit design to be released!

After unveiling their brown 125 anniversary 08/09 shirt http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/brown-coventry-city-08-09-puma-football-shirt.jpg a few days ago, Coventry City fans received an exclusive first look at three potential new 09/10 kits for next season.

The club is asking fans to vote for their favourite design, the design with the most votes, after the poll closes on December 30th, will be produced and worn by the Coventry city during the 09/10 season.
Nathan Kosky, commercial director for CCFC, said: “We are excited about these fantastic new designs, which have all been warmly received by the players, but as it is the supporters who will be buying the product we feel it makes sense to involve them as much as possible in the design process.

This is not a new one. This is last year's kit. Here we talk about the new ones for the 09/10 season ;)

The same guy who first saw the Liverpool kits the last 3 years says the new away kit for next season is black with gold trim and gold Carlsberg and there is a red line on the sleeves. I haven't seen any pics but that is the actual colours, he has been accurate every time.

It's probable Addidas will have their generic designs ready, so the Liverpool away could have been decided upon.

Zenit one would be nice if it had a different neckline.

I liked the new Puma design.

and for brazilian teams, Náutico and Vasco, I like to see brazilian brands (Champs) putting their brands on brazilian teams. Náutico used to wear WILSON and Vasco Reebok.

The most of the kits look ugly in the first pics, because of the quality of the pics, but then when you see a player wearing the kit, it looks totally different and I usually change my opinion.

I find this new adidas design quite interesting. When I first saw the NYRB kits, I thought those are some Tour de France kits cause I thought they have a zipper. I know see there is no zipper in there. I can't wait to see the players wearing these kits.

Right.... but when you see that New York Red Bulls are using that same design as their match kits, it is more likely than not, that it will be FC Bayern's match kit also.

I think it will look different when players will wear it. This kind of shirts leave a bad impression when they are just hanged on a store. They usually look way better on players.

Well, its like that with most german teams. Bayern is the most well known case, but just think of Borussia Dormunt, sometimes yellow with a black horizontal band, sometimes black and yellow stripes and even yellow and white tripes! or Werder Bremen, who had white and green stripes for a long time, then suddenly changed to halfed kits and even had a green and orange home kit! Now the home kit is white with a high horizontal band across the chest! No tradition at all...These are just some example but german football is practically full of teams who change constantly their home kit in more ways than youd expect them to

think about rc lens from france... every year they have a different style of kit thats always red and gold. in recent years i know they've had checks, hoops, stripes, plain and halves. i quite like it, seeing something different every season

This is the main Umbro font. The most of the teams that have contracts with Umbro (except the ones in Premier League who are forced to wear the Premier League font), are wearing this.

Liverpool’s new away kit and shirt for season 2009/10 will be black with gold adidas trim and red piping.

Liverpool’s Carlsberg sponsor will also be in gold.

Rumours have been doing the rounds on the forums since the start of the year, but we were informed that a white shirt was also under discussion as the new away top. This morning we have been told that the club and adidas have decided on the black kit for Liverpool’s new 09/10 away based on sales of the reds previous black shirt.

This season’s European shirt sales have been disappointing but now that we have confirmation of next years away shirt we suspect the second design of a white shirt may feature as Liverpool’s third shirt for 09/10 in order to revive sales. The club’s other option is to have a second home shirt for European games, as the main Liverpool home kit will not be replaced for another 18 months.

The following mock up from RAWK is the closest design to the new shirt and hopefully we will have a real photograph to post within the next couple of weeks.

seems kit making companies are becoming more lazy and lazy by the year and making kits simpler and simpler by the year.

they need to start doing some crazy unique designs like chivas ncie attractive kits not like say man us home kit. no design at all just a plain shirt.

IMO, that kit is ugly.

In the last few seasons, Liverpool's away/third kits have been a mix of too many (and sometimes wrong) colours.

An example would be the white kit they used last year (or two years ago), with the green sponsor and red trim.
It would've looked much better if the trim and sponsor were the same colour, which they have done now.

But gold doesn't suit Liverpool!
I wouldn't mind seeing that kit with the greeny colour that Liverpool have in the badge, instead of the gold.
Maybe then I might like it.

Italy shirt for the Confederations Cup.

The Azzurri are set to take part in the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa this summer and will do so wearing a specially designed kit, according to Calciomercato.

Puma has designed Italy's kit for the tournament as a tribute to the Italian sides that won the World Cup in 1934 and 1938. The colour and style of the jersey are reminiscent of the era with a v-neck and the Italian tri-colour symbol just above the heart. The oblique background stripes of they jersey will also have the word 'Italia' repeated.

Real Madrid defender and Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro is enthusiastic about the new kit will be involved with its presentation.

At present, it is planned that the strips will be used only for the Confederations Cup tournament, and then it seems they will be folded and put away, as the Italian national team will return to a more modern style.

The tournament runs from June 14 to June 28. Italy are in Group B with Brazil, the United States and Egypt.

I don't think Cruzeiro kits look boring. For me they're simple and traditional.

The work of Vicente Soriano and his closest collaborators starting to bear fruit. Valencia confirmed the immediate signing of a contract with the brand Kappa for the next three seasons, for which they will receive 5.5 million euros.

Check Chelsea's recent kit history, changing every season for the past 2/3.

Pictures like these always turn out to be real. Check previous threads like these where pics have been taken in Jan/Feb, they are all the kits for the following season.

What is wrong with the people at Milan who design jerseys? They had a horrible shirt last year, managed to create a great one for this season, and then apparently decided it would be a good idea to only use it for one season and go back to a horrible one for next season.

Madrid and Chelsea are improvements over their current ones...everyone needs to GET RID OF THE COLLARS, they are so 90's.

Different templates though...the template used for the Chelsea/Bayern kit looks good, but the Milan design is horrible. The collar makes it look ridiculous.

I'm really starting to get annoyed with the fact that teams are changing jerseys every season. I think home & aways should be kept for at least 3 years, but let them change their 3rd kits every season if they want. This way you know that when you buy a jersey it'll be current for at least 3 years, but the club still gets to come out with something new every year for the 3rd kit so they can grub more money out of the fans.

my opinion kits are getting progressively worse by the year. At least top clubs in world should all have UNIQUE very detailed beautiful jerseys not stupid plains jerseys also use th same template as ther teams. they needs t stop being lazy. and start producing beatiful kits again like tat enw russia kit on last page the template yah is kinda simple but they made it look nice weith the watermark and good use of colors.

I like the Chelsea kits. The away kit is the best, though.

I dont know what to say about Chelsea kits... they're a mix of Rugby and Cycling kits to me. I like them, but they're too strange. The next season i'll have a more detailed opinion when i see them play. The Zenit new kits in the forum looked bad but when i saw them live, they looked really great to me. You remember when the first pic with that Bayern Munich kit appeared. The collar was blue. Then another pic appeared and this time the collar was white. The Bild explain that all the pictures that lately appeared, are the proposals that adidas made to the clubs.

I'd be surprised if those were the Chelsea kits because they are simply terrible. The first one does look like some sort of cycling lycra effort, whilst the away looks like a club polo shirt.

as for the design, the away jersey looks like an amalgamation of the 05/06 and 06/07 nike templates: the 05/06 shoulder arches, the v-neck collar and fit of the 06/07, and a two-tone colouration of the collar to highlight said combination ...

AIG will still sponsor man u next season. they havent terminated their contract, only opted to not renew it after it expires at the end of the 09/10 season. so the new sponsor wont appear for another 2 seasons

Actually this is the real design for Liverpool next season's away kit. Look a couple of pages ago and you you will see.
