If you need Brazilian kits for 2002 in FIFA 2009 I would probably suggest requesting they be made by a kitmaker.

My intention is to convert and update all of my '07 patches. This is over 200 teams with over 4000 players and many incompatibilities that need to be individually rectified. For instance, I will have to create over 300 generic kits and minikits and edit the boots on every single player.

That said, I am more than willing to accept help. If anyone is at all interested in helping with anything, please contact me. I am interested in chants and sounds and such but I am working on so much, I'm afraid I'll have to leave this out. If you are interested in working on them though, We can see what we can do to incorporate it into the patches.

I spoke to Robbie tonight and somewhere along the line we miscommunicated our goals to one another. My goal has always been to create and manage all FIFA affiliated national teams with a few other additions. I will be working on my own project and seeking help with it but Robbie has full access to any files we post and is strongly encouraged to incorporate them into his patch.

At any rate, I will begin trying to convert the files probably tomorrow.

I modified the above Cuba File. I'm completely reworking my old over attributes for national teams. Most are lowered about 9 points with the best players being listed at a 91 overall... The worst overall team rating will probably be a 17.

In cuba's case they technically moved up. They were a 46. The 9 point adjustment moved them down to a 37 overall. But they were adjusted up to a 41 overall. When i say overall, it's really a best overall domestic player rating. Since all cuba's players are domestic this means all of their players will be listed between 41-31 overall.

Nah Madeira is a sub-national NT, like the Canary Islands. They recently won a tournament in the Channel Islands. I have stats like the player names and DoBs, as well as faces, but no number assignment to each player in order to correctly identify which player has which number.

I can't remember if Dwight Yorke is in my T&T patch or not. If I remember right, i made the roster near the time the gold cup was played when many T&T players weren't participating with the national team. Players like Dwight Yorke were retired. Chris Birchall wasn't a part of the gold cup roster either.

At any rate, adding these players to the roster will only take a couple of minutes as they are in the game by default.

Use the league placement patch to add the new teams to the international league. It should only take a couple of seconds for that patch to download and run. This will avoid you having to manually enter each new team.

Yeah they will have to be added to the league individually. You can also download the league placement patch, click "deselect all" then check just the following:

- International League
Colombia
Chile

Then the patch will insert them for you.

This is a generic world cup tournament I designed it a little differently than the conventional tournament however. I'm curious to know how you like the format for the tournament.

This patch includes 72 teams. One of the ideas I have been pushing is less direct spots into the world cup and more intercontinental playoffs. Does UEFA deserve as many spots as they get? They are awarded just under half of all seats. I'm not saying they do or do not deserve more or less seats but the design of this tournament forces a confederation to prove they deserve a ton of spots.

Basically, since there is no host in my tournament there are 20 teams who are placed directly into the world cup finals after their final round of confederation qualification. 12 teams are placed through intercontinental playoffs. This means that any given confederation could have more or less spots alloted to them than they normally get in a world cup.

Here's the potential spot allocation breakdown.

UEFA could have as few as 7 spots or as many as 14.
CAF could have as few as 5 or as many as 10.
AFC can have as few as 3 and as many as 6.
CONCACAF can have as few as 2 and as many as 5 spots.
OFC can have as few as 0 spots and as many as 1 spot
CONMEBOL can have as few as 3 spots and as many as 8 spots.

Let me give you a quick breakdown of what you'll face in each confederation:

CAF & UEFA -
Win your group and you're in the world cup finals. If you come in 2nd you'll enter the intercontinental playoffs.

AFC -
Win your group and you're in the world cup finals. If you come in second, you will enter a playoff with the other AFC group's runner-up. That playoff winner qualifies directly. The looser enters the intercontinental playoffs. Both AFC 3rds enter the intercontinental playoffs.

Example:

Australia and Iran finish first. They qualify.

Japan and Korea Republic finish second. They play each other home and away. and Korea Republic wins. Korea Republic qualifies, Japan enters the intercontinental playoffs.

Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia finish third and enter the intercontinental playoffs.

CONCACAF -
Finish in the top 2 and you qualify directly. 3rd through 5th enter the intercontinental playoffs

OFC -
New Zealand is the only team in this edition of the tournament so they are placed directly in the intercontinental playoffs.

CONMEBOL -
Finish in the top 3 and you qualify directly. Finish 4th through 8th and you enter the intercontinental playoffs.

If you win your playoff you qualify and enter the world cup tournament.

This reduces the likely hood that two UEFA teams will be placed on a group together during the world cup however it does allow the possibility of two african nations being placed together but this is a remote chance.

I flagged it for an update but I'm going to leave it alone for now. I need to stay commited to the conversion project and keep trying to get you new teams.

You have to add them to the international "league".

Open CM09.
Chose the 2nd upper button (League).
You'll see "Allsvenskan" league first. Scroll the leagues list down to "international".
Now, directly down the menu you just used, there's another similar scroll down menu for teams. Search the team you want to add.
Once selected, use the add button (next to the new team's name).

Save and enjoy.

i downloaded the WC patch, but when i upload it to CM09 not even half of it is loaded when my memory is full, and i tried the oprion to expand the memory on cm09 and still, so i dont know what to do....do i expand it like 10 more times before i try to upload he patch again or what??....i like it that the teams are on the front page

One thing I've considered is to post what has been done on a given day. Like today I posted your Costa Rica update along with 4 new teams,

At the end of the day I could post everything that has been added. That would date stamp it as well.

yes i am still having the problem.....it happens right after you finish choosing the teams, before the manage team screen comes up, it just crashes after pressing enter

I am attempting to modify the overall strength of several of the teams and While I wanted to edit EA created players very very little, it looks like I'm going to have to make a few more drastic adjustments to them.

I'm sorry if this disappoints you but I am trying to create some sense of realism. One thing you can do, if you don't want to import the values I adjusted, for any player who is listed "replace" by default by the CM09 patcher, deselect them. This will leave your default values in place.

I'm going to take a little break and change my approach a little bit so I don't expect to be releasing the teams as quickly but they should still be coming.

abri CM09, dale open fifa 09 y todo eso, y donde dice patch dale click y te salen dos opciones dale click en la que dice load, te va a abrir otra ventana entonces le das click donde dice open, y te vas al folder donde guardaste el archivo de chile_converted, y lo abris, despues de que cargue ahi dale click a la opcion que dice import the patch, cuando termines ahi, lo tenes que agregar a la "liga internacional" entonces dale click al simbolo de la premier league inglesa que es el de todas las ligas y donde esta el nombre Allsvenskan busca la international league, cuando ya estes ahi un poco mas abajo esta un icono de un hoja con un + de color verde, y al lado izquierdo tenes que poner el nombre Chile y le das click a ese simbolo para que la agregue, cuando termines salva, y ya podes jugar con la seleccion chilena en fifa 09

What exactly do I have to download to play Generic WC and what is the order of installation?
The tricky part for me are League placement patches. Leage placement patch 1, which comes with National Teames Pack 1, is the same NT Pack1. Is the link to filefront correct? Do I have to install NT Pack v 1,2 instead of NT Pack 1 and then install NT Pack 2 with Leage Placement Patch 2? What is the order?
And finally, is it necessary to dload all those packs and patches to play Generic World Cup or it already has all required teams and players?

Version 2 - the updated release of the same set of teams listed in pack 1. It includes roughly 45 teams, the same teams from pack 1.

Alright, I have been able to convert over 90 teams in addition to the teams already in game. We have a truckload of national teams now. There are still many left to do but I think this is a good spot for me to take a break. School is picking up and I made most of the teams I need to finish my current tournament so I can just play a game a quit in about 15 minutes rather than having to take the time to edit them as well.

I will probably post a few teams here and there but like I said, I'll really be chilling out on the number of teams released for sure from here on out.

I still need a lot of help with updates if anyone is at all interested. I can teach you how to do it if you want to learn. Start by updating your national team! Or maybe just work on teams in your Confederation.

The Indian national team I have is a little old. I adjusted the overall strength of the team too.

I have been very interested in a Comprehensive world cup tournament as well but I've been discouraged in the past by the tournament's not working properly. Also this time around I was quite bummed to find out that I can't use "Be a Pro" mode in tournament mode. Quite a bummer. That said, we should still do it but I'm slightly less motivated so I need you to stay on me about it.

As for kits. I can't use Mongolos' so I'm really hoping that Scissorhands could be the forerunner of making national team kits. I had someone else contact me about working on logos and kits. I am encouraging everyone to focus on kits. The Logos aren't bad, the kits are non-existent.

By the way I'll actually be releasing at least 222 national teams.

Can you make National Teams appear in game menu by continents.
Beacause it's a lot of hussle to browse 200 teams when choosing teams...

Beacause it's a lot of hussle to browse 200 teams when choosing teams...

The issue with arranging national teams by continent is that it messes with manager mode. I'm trying to keep the patches as friendly as possible for those that still like to use manager mode. It is a hassel but it does only take a minute or so to get to your desired team. Use the "Random" option until you get close, sometimes that helps speed it up.

I am extatic to hear of a possible update for Estonia, they need it for sure and I'm excited. I wouldn't suggest editing the existing players but it probably wouldn't be a travesty if you did. You'll do a great job, i'm sure of it.

I will be working on kit updates after I finish the initial release of all of the national teams. At the moment I'm going slow because of my work and school commitments.

I updated Estonia but I need to wait for the response from myx and rocky5 (I wish to add new kits and a stadium for Estonia). I know how to add stadium in to a patch but I don't know you add kits? or the kits will be autmatically there?

You have to add them to the league then save

Sorry I forgot a step. Go back into CM09. Click on the league tab (it should look like the FA premier league logo) select International league from the first drop down menu. Select whatever nation you want to add to the second drop down menu. Then click the add button just next to the second drop down menu.

I deleted old players, created new ones. I tried to get closest physical appearance (some succeded pretty good), all data is correct. High quality jerseys and minis by myx. A Le Coq Arena by rocky5.

It worked for me and gameplay felt very familiar considering Estonia's characteristics. But please let me know if you like it!

Can u make Hong Kong Team?

I made Hong Kong for '07 and you can convert it if you like. I will be converting it at some point but I don't know how soon.

I would urge you to convert it and update it yourself so that we can have a more accurate Hong Kong Team. I can help you do it and would be glad to post it on our page.
