Why are all the patches only working in the accelerated versions of the game.

I haven't got a 3dfx card so none of the patches works on my Comp.

If you are able to make a great patch for 3dfx, than it can't be that difficult to make the same patch for none 3dfx as well!!

I hope I'm not the only one who feels like this.
