Won't Fifa2001 support OpenGL? If not, will there be a patch that makes Fifa2001 run in OpenGL?

Oh yes, FIFA 2001 will support OpenGL!

I think.....

I have a GeForce 2 MX card and it doesn't support Glide as all the Voodoo cards do. My card supports D3d and OpenGL. Fifa 2000 doesn't work in OpenGl, it works in D3d, but in D3d I don't get so good graphics. So i really hope that Fifa2001 supports OpenGL.

If anyone knows please reply.

Yup, i think D3d is slower than opengl. You have to tweak ur card!
If you trust me, try this(i do this):
***FOR DIRECT3D***
1) Download this drivers: http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/Forum16/HTML/001141.html

2) Get coolbits.reg so you can turn Vsync OFF: http://www.geforcefaq.com/files/coolbits.reg
Use Always off. With that registry patch, you can overclock your card, not recommended because you can only increase little fps and may damage your card.

3) Under compatiblity and performance, tick only "Enable Fog Emulation table" and "adjust Z-buffer depth....."(first two)

4) Mipmap Detail level: Best performance.

5) Note at this point there are 2 different steps, choose 1 of them if you find them faster, i personally use the first...

(i)Use Antialiasing 2x2(special) and tick Force in all app, play your games in 800x600 or 640x480 resoultion.
OR
(ii)Just don't tick the Force antialiasing in all app, and run ur games at 1024x768 or 1152x864.

The above settings can be found in Control Panel->Display properties->Settings->Advanced->Geforce(or other graphics card)->additional properties->Direct3D

6) Enable AGP fastwrites: http://www.geforcefaq.com/files/fwon.reg

7) You may want to use AGP 4X, try downloading NVmax or Powerstrip www.tweakfiles.com (http://www.tweakfiles.com)

That's about all. And if you are daring enough, use Nvidia's reference bios and flash your graphic card as they work better with Nvidia's drivers, once you flash your card with a wrong bios, byebye to your card, you may use Vga-bios to test first. It is a software bios utility. Get your Geforce Mx bios and flashing utilities here: http://zoiah.m3dzone.com/
Flash your bios be4 you install your drivers.

Anybody has more tweaks or feels that i little tweak guide contain wrong imformation, feel free to post.

IS IT SUPPORTED IN FIFA 2000, WHEN I CLICK 3D3 DEVICE, IT SAYS THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON THE GAME AND WHEN I USE IT, EVERYTHING IS F*****.
