though for me it's going to be "tomorrow's euro qualifiers". Heh.
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 1) 2000/2001
20:00 Faroe Islands 0 - 2 Yugoslavia
a win is not guaranteed, but most likely, and it won't be easy.
20:00 Luxembourg 0 - 2 Russia
I am afraid for some reason. I don't have enough faith in my team. In qualifiers for WC98 we tied Cyprus 1:1 in Cyprus.
20:15 Switzerland 0 - 0 Slovenia
I would like a draw, and these are two reasonably even teams. Some have advatages, some don't, but generally-speaking it is most likely going to be a tie.
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 2) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
18:00 Estonia 0 - 3 Republic of Ireland
Ze Irish are actually surprising me with their results. Oper and Poom might do the unbelievable, but for some reason I feel that ze Irish will control the situation in the game
22:00 Portugal 4 - 0 Cyprus
anybody surprised?
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 3) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
17:00 Czech Republic 3 - 1 Northern Ireland
Czechs are still too good of a team not to beat Norhtern Ireland at home
19:15 Denmark 4 - 0 Malta
No brainer
20:00 Iceland 1 - 1 Bulgaria
Maybe Bulgaria is stronger at the moment, recent results don't make the gap between the teams bigger, only smaller, if do. Iceland plays not bad at home.
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 4) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
16:00 Azerbaijan 1 - 3 Slovakia
Feel that Azerbaijanis have little to overcome such tough opponets, maybe except for the home walls. I'll be cheering for them, but I doubt they'll win.
19:30 Turkey 3 - 1 F.Y.R. of Macedonia
Turkey is Turkey. They cannot afford to draw at home, much like any other strong soccer team in Europe.
20:15 Sweden 3 - 0 Moldova
Same goes to swedes. I doubt there will be a sensation here.
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 5) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
18:00 Armenia 0 - 2 Poland
Poles all the way. They're awesome lately.
18:00 Ukraine 2 - 0 Wales
Finally Ukrainians not only score for the first time in Kyiv since last year, but win a game.
19:00 Norway 1 - 0 Belarus
Same for Norwegians, sometime they should break their loosing tradition. Too bad Belorussian brothers, but I feel this is going the be the Norway's first win in a while.
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 6) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
18:00 Latvia 0 - 1 Croatia
Though Latvians do have some talent, Croats are still better, and that is why their win will only be 1:0.
20:30 San Marino 1 - 5 Belgium
Anyone surprised?
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 7) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
19:00 Israel 2 - 3 Spain
Spain'll win, though Israel had surprised me with results a lot of times..
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 8) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
17:00 Lithuania 1 - 3 Romania
Romanians should win this one... Can't afford to lose points.
20:15 Hungary 1 - 1 Georgia
Two pretty much equal teams.. thus the draw,,
WC 2002 qual. - Europe (Group 9) 2000/2001
07:15 June 6
19:30 Albania 1 - 3 Germany
As much as I like to see how Albanians give a lot of good games nearly making sensations, ze germans will come prepared..
20:45 Greece 1 - 1 England
I feel there'll be a draw, though the way England plays lately, they can win it 5:0 for all we know. We'll see...
