Apollox Realistic Gameplay 1.0


After 200 hours of development can I release today the Apollox Realistic Gameplay in version 1.0.

This gameplay include the following features:


updated ball weight, more heavy
updated ball physic
updated ball gravity
updated collision system, more smooth
updated shooting system, new aiming system for example
updated passes
updated crossing
updated freekicks
updated penalties
updated injuries, more injuries and not so often winded players
updated hand playing, more often
updated keeper reactions, react faster and more aggressive
updated keeper difficult, hold and pound more balls
updated AI difficult, much better
updated AI danger in front of the goal
AI try sometimes distance shoots
AI are more clever
AI closer to the attacker
more tackles from the AI
more fouls from the AI, in the penalty box too
more dynamic playing
motivation are more important
no game is like the other

At first is this only a installer + uninstaller, in the next days follow maybe the Apollox Gameplay Switcher 09, to switch fast from my gameplay to the EA gameplay, to play online for example and in later versions maybe to other gameplays too.

after i installed I checked my install and config.dat had not changed, ai.ini was not created and new ini.big was not made either. Just 2 71kb ~config.dat files were made and the uninstaller/impbig.exe. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem and I use XP.
Would be great if you could offer a maual installation of your gameplay.
So that everyone can enjoy it.

how is it compared to Onsche`s Advanced gameplay ?

I get error line in the DOS windows but they appear to short to read them. config.dat and ini.big are changed, but I'm not sure if the patch is installed correctly.

Would you release the ai.ini separately? Then I can import the ai.ini in the config.dat and ini.big manually.

No, the Gameplay is completely differently;)

Yes, the Installation have few Problems. Also the unistall is not without Problems. In 3th attempt has it functioned, maybe comes still a fix.

A installer fix is not possible, because this is the old known problem with the impbig.exe which is a part of biggui and that is the only way to import the ai.ini in the config.dat without replacing some other stuff in the config.dat
The problem is, that biggui/impbig not on every pc can open the config.dat normally or after import compressed it.
The ~config.dat file etc is the uncompressed version of the config.dat where normally the new ai.ini is imported.

But I will upload now only the ai.ini

Use FileMaster 09, open on the left site config.dat and go on the red arrow and import the new ai.ini, sure you must overwrite it. Then open in the left section the data-folder and in the next step the cmn-folder, click on ini.big and import this ai.ini like in step one.

You can edit them by exporting ai.ini from your config.dat and changing the parameter.

That is not completly correct, for the heavy you must edit the following parameters, but mostly you must edit the gravity and damping too and the damping are not only in the part which fifa_freak shown, under the heavy parameters are some damping parameters too.

Here is the Apollox Realistic Gameplay v1.5 for you.
In this version give it no new features, I have only updated all features and that sometimes completly in over ca. 60 till 80 hours of development again. The result is absolutly not bad, so that this version is one of the best gameplay patches for FIFA 09.
This time it give not only an automatic installation + Uninstaller, I have decide to make a manual installation + Instructions too, because the last time work the automatic installation not for all users. When you are not sure if the automatic installation was succesful, then use the manual installation.

Today I have an update from the Apollox Realistic Gameplay v1.5 for you, ok exactly I have two updates for you, because I do not made only one updated version, I made two updated versions of the gameplay in version 1.5. Some users found the v1.5 gameplay a little bit to fast and hectically.
But this version have not only the two updated versions, you can choose the version 1.5 too. You can install the gameplay again automatically or manually with the instruction wihich is included.

Test it and you see and feel it, because someone feel this differents, someone not, because the differents are not big.
In the last for days you had very easy test it self and see it self where the little differents are and not wait all this time.

Do you really need to import it into "ini.big"? :confused:

Simply extracting the ai.ini to the cmn folder shouldn't do the work, as FIFA use the external file, if it exists ("locale.ini" in the root FIFA folder works this way, and some graphics too) ?

Good work apollox, this update is much better as before. This is always hard work i know that's best. I find it good that's it give this year so many good Gameplays. I see this as cooperation and not as a competition fight. Anyway, respect apollox "double thumbs up".(Y)(Y)

So....what do these values mean? I know that some of them are obvious like max ball velocity but what values can you change them to (what's the min/max)?

I like the shootersxpatch or whatever it's called but they all make gameplay a bit too difficult for my liking, anyone have a favourite patch?
