Burchill has proven he's a good player at international level,and I believe if scotland start him tomorrow we'll have a great chance of winning.

Let's hope he gets a couple of goals coz someone at Celtic needs to hold their head up and if he get an International goal it'll do a lot for his confidence. Viduka is still not living up to expectations (certainly not against the Hun anyway) and I read in the paper this morning in Sydney that he's going to Inter. Good F****** riddance I say. Lte's make a profit on him and buy someone decent!!

Looking at this from a Scotland-fan point of view, nothing to do with Rangers-Celtic, I think the best thing to do is have him as a sub. We have some great strikers up front with a lot more experience. That being said, there is one situation where I would start Burchill. If I were Brown and I decided on having 3 up front I would start Burchill in the middle. 3 up front IMO would actually do well against England if England go with 3 in the back. Having 3 up front against 3 defenders who will most likely push up to pressure Scotland will leave England vulnerable to a quick counterattack.

What on earth was the point of putting Burchill on with only 8 minutes to go. We need some quality strikers, Burchill needs to be let loose from the start. Dont worry about his age, build Scotlands future attack around him. Man Id love to see Duncan ferguson knocking balls down to Burchills feet

I think Craig Brown should have been sacked a long time ago. He always picks a crap team and squad and even though I'm a Rangers fan I think Burchill should have started against England. And that was a good point to bring back big Dunc. Brown should be begging him to come back. And another thing is why does he pick Davie Weir when Gough is playing better than him at Everton. Galagher should also be kicked out. And Dailly is pish. He was never worth around 5 and 6 million. What a waste of space. I do think Collins is still good though and Barry Ferguson. It would be good to see players like Dalglish coming to the top team
