I founded a new add!In the first part on the image you can see a small image with Juventus and AC Milan and in the background Stadio Olimpico di Torino! So there will be a new stadium in FIFA10!:D

The German online magazine pcaction already talks about the upcoming FIFA 10 screens, we were already able to see in PSM3. It seems like they really excited and also optimistic about FIFA 10.
The screenshot they are talking about seem to be NG-only.

We have a total of eight FIFA 10 screenshots. Sweetpatch.tv talks about 2 "hot issues" to be improoved in FIFA 10 (PC):

We had another fantastic day at EAC as we were introduced first thing in the morning to the PC version of FIFA 10. Just a quick feature check today, which we will follow up with a fuller review once he NDA has lifted and we have returned home. The PC version of FIFA 10 has focused on 2 main "Hot Issues" to improve the game, i.e. Next Gen Gameplay and Online Issues.

Gameplay Updates include:

* More responsiveness with improved heading, crossing, player switching and skill moves
* Improved collision system with less colliding with team mates and better avoidance system.

With regard full Next Gen Gameplay, you won't unfortunately be getting all the features in the NG version due to the limitations of the majority of players PCs (only about 10% of you have high enough spec PC's to run the game as required), but you will certainly get a much improved gameplay engine.

Pes are still way behind at the moment but one true thing is that releasing it via download will stuff there sales up big time.

If their excuse for not making full NG game for PC is that there are few people with PC´s capable of running the game, they should also think that not everyone has fast internet access to download a full game.

Just found a website with some FIFA10 info it, looks like the console version, but now I have a PS3 maybe I will get that version. I'll only get the PC version if the game has been significantly improved from 09.

Hmmm... interestingly enough there seem to be no new kits for example Arsenal 09/10 Away Kit (Navy Blue) and the boots are all the same as well as FIFA 09.

But then, it's not released yet so who knows.

I fully agree with thelordspawn, PES 2009 has outstanding numbers and if you know how to edit then you can have a very realistic game.

So as far as I'm concerned so far, I am happy to keep on playing 09.

I will probably buy FIFA 10 but probably on a console,but especially if I can't use the kits and boots from my 09 I'll be sticking with 09 or getting *shudders* PES 2010.

Hmm.. I think graphic formats will be similar as 09 version because graphics just improved a little bit and looks similar. I think EA reveals a special change in PC version per 6 years and in 2015 I think maybe PC will be same as console.

Just wanted to comment on this thread.

I understand that some of you are disappointed that we are not doing a next gen version for FIFA 10 PC. Lots of things are being said about why this is the case and the truth is there are many reasons. One IMPORTANT reason that I wanted to share with you is that we are developing an engine for the PC. This will allow us to take key parts of NG and other platforms, whilst doing what matters for the PC. Once FIFA 10 is released I hope that you'll see this.

We have made some BIG changes to the game, more of which will be announced over the coming months. Without going into details, you can expect more news on the gameplay, graphics, manager mode + more. We also have some BIG innovations for FIFA 10 PC which will make a lot of you happy!

There is so much more to come and I look forward to sharing more with you all in due course.

But everytime we get something old with some new good things and some new stupid things (the goal mechanics - the first game where you put the ball under the crossbar and is not a goal, and this is against football in general, they dont even bother to test the game first before release).
I like FIFA, but not the original released version. I like it because i can change allmost everything (thanks to you guys) and after some hard work, i have something close to reality. But every year i get bored much faster because are things that i can not control and my patience has ended. Last year in june my 07 was still on my PC but after the ”great” 08 and the totally stupid 09 i dont have nothing installed right now. After 3 years i concluded just one thing: this EA departament, this EA guys, who give us the fabulous news about the next garbage, they are clueless about football. Is imposible to make a game about a sport who looks strange to you. I am from Europe, and is like i start to make a game about baseball! Is imposible to do the same mistakes every year and to add new ones. Just to repeat why i will not pay for the next FIFA releases:
-the goal mechanics
-the fantastic defence stupidity (with that stupid Charlie Chaplin collision system)
-the head passing (when the ball travels 2cm)
-the real stupid oponent goalkeeper who waits on line when i have a counter atack.
-the stupid shooting mechanics where power=altitude.
-the national team taking my best players when i have a Champions League match (but they dont even know what Champions league is)
-the tag ”stupid” mounted on every oponent player no matter what name is written on his back (the FIFA Ronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho and others are just regular guys with no knowledge about shooting or passing and the ”special” skills are taken from another comedy show: Benny Hill).
-the crowd emotions have nothing to do with the match itself. I was winning a game with 4-0 as a visitor and at the end of the match the home crowd was very enthusiastic.
-the fault mechanism is also not real, the spinning of the ball is not real, the direction of the spinning is not real, the goalkeepers reactions are not real, the management of the club is not real, the manager objectives are not real (just promoted and the objective is the win the ligue), the passing is not real, the shooting movement of the players is not real (looks like they gonna throw the leg), the stoping of the ball is not real (Rooney dont need 6 moves to stop a ball from bouncing!) and much much more.

The key words are: STUPID and NOT REAL. Dont buy this game no more. Dont give a job to this stupid EA guys. They are living a good life because their bosses think that FIFA is a hit. Is not. Is the same garbage in different paper. They dont even bother to create an open discution about the game, about their mistakes, about what to do next year. They put a new face to Ronaldo, make the ball bounce more or less and voila! they got the job for another year with great succes. If they was interested in their jobs, the Creation Master or the other fantastic tools, a stadium builder for example, it was in the official game allready. Because a whole year, a team of programmers, EA programmers, work on this game and this is all you got? Ha! I think they put a day or two in a month working on this FIFA, between SIMS or PGA TOUR (another garbage where just the name is changed from year to year).

I actually heard that instead of only being able to move your characters in eight directions, the movement will be a little more nuanced such that you won't have to make a full direction change. Maybe this means sidestepping with the ball?

EA officially claimed that they will add Russian Premier League in FIFA 10. They said that this may be the step of being worldwide spreadth of Russian Premier League.

PS : This contract is quite late so NG version like PS3 or XBox version will have RPL since FIFA 11 not next version. PC, PS2, PSP will have RPL in FIFA 10.

The key words are: STUPID and NOT REAL. Dont buy this game no more. Dont give a job to this stupid EA guys. They are living a good life because their bosses think that FIFA is a hit. Is not. Is the same garbage in different paper. They dont even bother to create an open discution about the game, about their mistakes, about what to do next year. They put a new face to Ronaldo, make the ball bounce more or less and voila! they got the job for another year with great succes. If they was interested in their jobs, the Creation Master or the other fantastic tools, a stadium builder for example, it was in the official game allready. Because a whole year, a team of programmers, EA programmers, work on this game and this is all you got? Ha! I think they put a day or two in a month working on this FIFA, between SIMS or PGA TOUR (another garbage where just the name is changed from year to year).

I would really want to know what are the PC´s they are hoping us to have to play NG.
Everyone in a civilized country have a decent PC nowadays. I said that and I´m from Uruguay, a little country in South America. Here we have as standards PC´s DualCores with 2 or 4gb of ram, 256 o 512mb video cards...................so.....this is not enough for a decent game? come on, actually we can play Crysis Warhead, GTA4, FEAR2, Farcry2, etc on this machines but we can´t handle a soccer game?? Please, learn some programming!!!

Outsider, about the crowds, does the away crowd have also their team colors and the flags are all toghether in the away sector?

In fifa09, for example in Estadio do Dragao the away flags are all over the place. It is really annoying.

I'm a FIFA fan but there are some thing from PES that I would like for them to implement.
Playing PES 2009 I noticed the incredible amount of editing you are allowed to do such that it makes up for all the un-licensed material.
One thing I have noticed is the customised armbands in the game see the kit below as an example.

With the fonts in PES you are allowed to have both letter and name fonts and adjust the the number position on the front of the jersey.
Now I'm not criticising FIFA I'm only mentioning some things that they should look into since I know they check forums like this regularly.

And thats why we dont edit PES - its too simply! :D

Sience waiting for FIFA07 i hear the same stupid things...”the new features...new gameplay...new this...new that”. And always we wait a new game, something different than the precedent. But everytime we get something old with some new good things and some new stupid things (the goal mechanics - the first game where you put the ball under the crossbar and is not a goal, and this is against football in general, they dont even bother to test the game first before release).
I like FIFA, but not the original released version. I like it because i can change allmost everything (thanks to you guys) and after some hard work, i have something close to reality. But every year i get bored much faster because are things that i can not control and my patience has ended. Last year in june my 07 was still on my PC but after the ”great” 08 and the totally stupid 09 i dont have nothing installed right now. After 3 years i concluded just one thing: this EA departament, this EA guys, who give us the fabulous news about the next garbage, they are clueless about football. Is imposible to make a game about a sport who looks strange to you. I am from Europe, and is like i start to make a game about baseball! Is imposible to do the same mistakes every year and to add new ones. Just to repeat why i will not pay for the next FIFA releases:
-the goal mechanics
-the fantastic defence stupidity (with that stupid Charlie Chaplin collision system)
-the head passing (when the ball travels 2cm)
-the real stupid oponent goalkeeper who waits on line when i have a counter atack.
-the stupid shooting mechanics where power=altitude.
-the national team taking my best players when i have a Champions League match (but they dont even know what Champions league is)

Perfect, perfect addressed what fans (who understand football know real well).
It is possible that a simple game of virtual football, both of these guys and how of Konami "eternally repeated the same mistakes in successive versions.

So we here in Brazil we have a vision to synthesize these highly accurate details. Yes, we are also disappointed with the abysmal quality presented. Where the progress of developing a virtual football of turtle steps.

- Follow the true opinion of the fans;
- Collect the maximum of stuf brilliant in their own patchs.
It is because they are presenting themselves with remarkable desire, the path of progress that the game should follow.

Many of you would have seen the improvements being made to the gameplay engine in FIFA 10 PC from the news being released from the media following our European media tour, which took us FIFA Producers to London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Munich, Warsaw and Moscow. Some of you who read the forums would have seen some details that I have been sharing with you over there.

Throughout the development of FIFA 10 PC I have been saying that our focus for FIFA 10 PC was the gameplay engine and to deliver a game that you would all enjoy playing. You have also heard me say that FIFA 10 PC is not NG or CG but that we were focusing on bringing some of the best bits from NG to PC and taking the PC in its own direction. I hope that reading the blog will illustrate some of the ways in which we are doing this.
We have been approaching the development of the FIFA PC gameplay engine with 2 main focuses in mind, Gameplay Innovation and developing the Core Gameplay. This blog will cover off details of our Gameplay Innovations.

Game Play Innovation
This year we really wanted to change the way you played FIFA 10 PC. In order to do this we had to change the way you play and control the game and also change the way the AI plays against you. Looking at our Gameplay engine with this in mind gave us our 5 gameplay innovations that are unique to FIFA 10.

First off all, we’re pleased to announce the inclusion of 360⁰ Dribbling and 360⁰ defensive Movement for FIFA 10 PC.

Our complete list of gameplay innovations are:
1. 360⁰ dribbling
2. 360⁰ defensive movement
3. AI Team Styles
4. Custom Team Styles
5. Scout Report

360⁰ dribbling
Those of you experienced with FIFA 09, are fully aware that the players could only move in 8 directions. This actually restricted movement to Up, Down, Left, Right and the Diagonals in between, and for those who noticed it, it made for a somewhat frustrating and unrealistic experience. With 360⁰ Dribbling you now have the freedom to move using all 360⁰ angles, which gives you the freedom to move anywhere you want. This is the first time this is being offered in any football game and means that you will have a much smoother and fluid experience. With the right amount of practice you will be able to dribbling around players like never before. Dribbling is not the only benefit you will get from 360⁰ Dribbling, it now makes passing much more realistic and controllable. Basically you will find yourself making passes not possible before simply because you can now point to anyone on the pitch.

360⁰ Defensive Movement
Like 360⁰ Dribbling, the 360⁰ Defensive Movement allows all off the ball players the freedom to move and defend using 360⁰ awareness. This makes for more accurate slide tackles (being able to pick the exact angle of the challenges), more shoulder to shoulder defending (subtle movements allow you to press against shoulders more easily), and ability to chase and close down opponents.

Team Styles (CPU)
All CPU Team’s will use 26 different team styles, 9 attacking, 5 defensive and 12 team specific plays. I will be writing a blog going into specific details but here is a list of the attacking and defensive styles:

- Box Overload
- Side Overload

Custom Team Styles
Like CPU team styles, I will be writing a blog on this. However, the user will be able to use a combination of the 9 attacking and 5 defensive styles, as seen above, to create their preferred playing styles. Use these styles to your advantage.

Full details of the scout report will also be in the Team Style blog, but to give you a quick insight the scout report will provide information on the Team style, formation and key players.

The Gameplay innovations are only part of what we have in store for you in FIFA 10. Over the coming weeks and months I will be putting together blogs on Core Gameplay, Team Styles, Online Refinements and Game Modes.

No, they did not... They are the same template: they have been only moved and rotated :D

In this picture you can also see the new function that allows you to know the results of other matches of the competition while playing. In the top right corner you can see the change of result of Deportivo - Sevilla!

That is such rubbish! What is more next-gen than a PC? The graphics and processing power of higher-end PC's just blow the 360 and PS3 out of the water. And it's easier to program for the comp!

I think this whole thing boils down to "hardcore" vs. "casual" gamers. EA definitely rakes is more money from the second group, and unfortunately most hardcore gamers are PC users, so we get neglected. I guess the whole PC games are more widely pirated adds to the problem, but god damn it, if I'm paying $55 for a game I expect it to be of a certain quality!

I think there will be not big problems... Creation Master need to be reworked only a bit, Db Master 09 is a generic tool that should work also with FIFA 10 db without problems ;)

Graphic Switcher is a tool by MonkeyDragon. By the way there should not be such differences in files structure next year, so it should be faster to make the Graphic Switcher 2010 than in 09 season ;)

i hope they actually make the AI reffing FAIR for once cause playing offline pisses me off when the cpu keeps fouling my players every 2 seconds and not 1 free kick is called then i like scratch their foot and they get a free kick

Estadio Chamartin is another generic, but looking very similar to Bernabeu. Only the name is identical to the stadium you mentioned.


About the leagues...
who cares, I mean on PC there will be tons of new leagues coming as user downloads. The thing I start to worry about is the bad quality of the pc game. Again a game like FIFA 08 and the pc community will diminish more and more. You can already watch this development here in the forums, less activity and even threads like this one, don't get pinned.
