I'm impressed by our league form. We are now on an 8 game unbeaten run (1 of those with Bergodi, the other 7 with Stoichita). If you look at the schedule, WE SHOULD have 6 points guaranteed out of the last four matches with Astra and International. Vaslui will be tough and Craiova is always tough even though they suck this season.

It would be an amazing achievement for this team to be top of the table at the winter break.

what do you guys think about Toja leaving? he won't be missed imo, and his departure means that Ionescu and Bicfalvi will get more playing time, which is fine by me. Golanski on the other hand, if he goes and we don't get Ogararu then we're ****ed. I know Emeghara started playing again but it will take at least half a year until he's back to his best. anyway it's like having a new player.

Stoichita also complained he hasn't enough players.In my opinion Emeghara needs at least 6 months to play regularly.Petre Marin can go anywhere, that guy broke the atmosphere many times in the lockroom, he has a very bad character.But i feel sory for Golanski and Toja.

Ogararu isn't coming anymore, he was offered a contract for only 6 months and he said no. Godwin Antwi is another player we're interested in, currently a free agent, an ex-Liverpool academy player who couldn't cut it, guess he could do well for us though. also, it was said that Sburlea will be coming in the summer, seems like that deal fell through too. also, Toja to Dynamo isn't happening anymore. Marius Constantin was another transfer target but El Ciobandante changed his mind it seems.

How did Emeghara do against Twente? I didn't get to see the match. It's such a shame that he had that injury because prior to it happening he was starting to become a regular for the Nigerian national team and with them making the World Cup it would of been great to see a Steaua player on that stage.

That's because he hasn't played a single minute yet.

It's incredible how amazing Kapetanos has been for us this season. Without his goals in the last 10 minutes we would be probably somewhere in the lower half of the table. He's now sitting at 17 goals for the season (has scored in all 3 competitions we've been in, the only one on the roster to do that).

Also, him and Stancu account for 28 of our 54 goals this season. We're only 3 points back solely because of the individual talent of some of our players. The team is still playing like s*it but because of those few we actually have a f*cking chance. Unbelievable.

I'm surprised that even if we play like **** (generally speaking; those who play well are too few) we actually are the only team who can catch CFR. The thing is that CFR needs to lose points in 2 matches. That is pretty hard. Timisoara must beat them and maybe Vaslui draw with them. We really need to win against Rapid (I dunno why I feel it will be a draw, hope I'm wrong).

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when we play a good team.

That game is a microcosm of what Steaua is at the moment from owner all the way down to the person that empties the trash after a match is over.

We play two of the better teams in Liga 1 in back to back matches and what happens? We eat up 8 goals. If that doesn't say it all about our pathetic Mickey Mouse defense than I don't know what does.
