@Dule: Of course I didn't forget you. As for the stadium, I bugged a lot of people to do it for me, but most of them didn't have time. I get it, now even more than before, cause it's a lot of work. I basically didn't have any choice but to do it myself, so ... You made them before so you know yourself ...

No man, don't throw it away, in time you will get better and you can update it 'till it will look good. I did a lot of things twice or three time before it looked a bit like the real stadium. So keep trying, if I made it you will to.:)

It is not finished yet, there are still a lot of bugs and mismatched textures + it's the club version and not for the Slovenia NT. I would like to fix this before I get the first version out.

I had to translate it, so. What tutorials did you use? Because i need them.

If i have about 1 more day practise, i might make my local stadium.

Very nice work on this stadium. Good to see someone attempting a smaller stadium from one of the less fashionable teams. Keep going and release the critter when you are happy with it...

I think that's an issue with the stadium model lighting. There's a tool for that in ECP's Stadium Builder.

@houltonj: It doesn't matter how big the stadium is, there is always an important team playing on it, even though it might have a very small fan base. As for the tutorial, try this if it help, it helped me in the beginning.

You'll get the hang of it, it's basically copy/paste meshes and resizing and repositioning them. I think the Woodside Park is perfect for starters, though it has a lot of details. Get back at me with the progress.:)

If you meant lightning wizard, it is not it. It regulates the brightness of the whole stadium.

I did start, and my computer just died.

So it looks like i have to start again.

I found loads of pictures of The BSFC actually playing, and i got some good angles of all parts of the stadium now!

Its just importing it and all that into the game, could you tell me how to do that?

Yep, I think there is some kind of a shadow in front of the textures in behind, I don't know ...

I had problems converting the stadium too until I found this great tutorial made by Liam & Noel. It is quite big, but it has a video tutorial of every step. Just make sure you work with layers when you build the stadium, it will be much easier later on.

What do you mean - the video? Use media player, real player, bsplayer ... anything that plays video files.

As for the stadium - it's nice, work on it, give it some more details and you'll get a nice fantasy stadium.:)

Does anyone know how to make partially transparent textures? Can I make partially transparent png and import it?

in the alpha file, make the texture you wanna be partially transparent grey. You can make it more darker ( more transparent) or you can make it more lighty (Y)

Anyone up for helping me with the shadows and floodlights?

The floodlights can you made very easy on the best go it with the LightWorker by Ludo (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/lu.idf/).
Now to the shadows this is not so easy why, you need a little bit know how for this, but I try to help you well. You´re start the Photoshop ( or an other Graphic program) and made a picture 1024*512.
Well done mate so the next step is you sullen try to made a mask you so from the shadow use an grey color (why so get you an realistic shadow color). Now save this all in a bmp file and call them for example d-a.bmp ( bit before you do this step resize the resolution from 1024*512 to 256*128) now have you an Black bmp file and the drawing shadows in the d-a.bmp done. So have you an Shadow an light file and maybe the collations.

I've tried to make something happen with light worker, but it's really hard. I guess I'll have to learn a bit more and keep my nerves.:) As for the shadows, the ones you described is for the pitch, at least I think that is what you mean. What about the shadows for stands?

I get the whole shadow thing now, I just need someone to tell me how to make the m713 file - from .3ds to .o and how to link it with the shadow texture.

I think I'll release the first version soon, cause there are a lot of people anxious to play in it, and I'll release the second version with updated textures, shadows, collision files ... a bit later.
