first of all where have you been and second of all once before new year u told us here that u follow GAZIANTEPSPOR from the Turkish league because they have some Russian players and i think you know they have qualified for the UEFA cup so far what do you think will happen in the future for them and how are they so far?

Hi, Sukur.. though for this 5 month absense from these boards I hadn't followed the Turkish league much, except for some scores that were posted in a few russian newspapers.. I did read Krivov's interview somewhere this march where he said that Gaziantepspor (I can spell it now! urr, crazy Turkish names..) being a definite 3rd best team of the Turkish league..

One of the reasons I am still interested in Gaziantepspor is that Krivov was one of my favorite players in the Russian league as he played in my favorite Russian Premier League club.... The club wasn't doing that good last year, average, but Krivov was far beyond the average... And that is said as I have seen Krivov play only once-twice!

Anyway, I got a little dissapointed as Krivov played only 17 games in the season, an injury made his season shorter. But the fans really liked him, especially in the first games he played, where he was doing pretty good.

Though other guys, who are Belorussian (not Russian, but for many it's the same thing) are not doing well, either...


I did hope for Gaziantepspor to qualify for the CL so that the chance of me seeing them on the TV here in America would be bigger.. But oh well, I have to hope that they either play an English team in the UEFA Cup at some point (my soccer channel showed a lot of games of English clubs in the UEFA Cup), or go in the semifinal :) Or both would be good :)
