What emulator do i need and where can I get it? Also, would I need the actual CD or can ISS be downloaded as a ROM? What system requirments would I need? Also is ISS 2000 available in North America?

Fifa98 was good at the time, Fifa99 and 2000 really sucked, I need a decent football game for a change.

Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions.

there's 2 options:

1- ISS evolution or anew game called MLS GAMENIGHT(for US) which are PSX games

then need to buy or rent game+ VGS emulator
which is $50 but it's a3mb file which coud be split w/ many people or perhaps found

2- ISS 2000 is for N64 and could be downloadable as A ROM and the emulators are free also

seems like 2 is better but i heard the N64 games aren't AS GOOD ...(different branch of the company)and not guranteed to work for every PC

i did the 1st option which may cost more
but is guaranteed..and i also heard from people who tried both that the PSX one is better to play but not as smooth graphics
THIS IS THE WHOLE DEAL as I know it
for Virtual game station (VGS)
http://www.connectix.com/products/cvgs.html http://bleemer.heha.net/
this other emulator called bleem..wasn't proven to work w/ISS the last time i checked

FOR N64
these are what i now and try your luck

there's 2 famous emu's
1- ULTRAHALE: runs w/3dfx cards only and
to my latest it didn't run ISS
2-NEMU 64 which runs fine but won't work w/3dfx cards(my personal case)
www.emulation64.com (http://www.emulation64.com) http://fs.dai.net/ac/392250/E01.html?http://n64romsdl.nukemworld.com

good luck

trust me it's worth it!

Thanks Sabaho.

I think I might go with the first option, I like guarentees.

Do you know if ISS 2000 is available to buy in North America, I once heard someone say you couldn't get it here? Only in Europe and Japan.

thing is the names are an issue..it took me sometime to get this straight..

ISS pro evo is the great game most people are talking about..i live in US and got it from Eelctronic boutique..and they have an MLS version(latest game out)w/53 national teams and a success mode and some improvements..

ISS 2000 is the N64 game and the PS version will come out soon(see the link on this site)
but isn't as great because adifferent branch of the company made it

ISS pro Evolution 2 is the one i am waiting for..and isn't due soon( december or march)

i don't think so my friends. nothing is better than fifa.
the graphics of fifa kicks ass. fifa is not a true futbol game but the graphics kicks ass. i have played other games and the graphics did not attracted me. i only play a game if the graphics are good. i still think fifa is the best soccer game in the world.
well i am not saying anything against your openion (ISS) but my openion is that fifa is the best.

look

this is coming from someone who does care about graphics..and it seemed very inferior
comparing a PSX GAME:ISS graphics w/ fifa
on my 3DFX card( DAMN GOOD GRAPICS)..but
that fell down when i played it.

graphics are for realism..player w/ the low PSX resolution looked more recognizable than fifa's!!!!

w/ the correct heights..and builds(from skinney to very large) as well as hair...

AND MORE IMPORTANT IS THEIR VERY REALISTIC ATTRIBUTES THAT U CAN CLEARLY FEEL AS THEY PLAY TO THE SMALLEST DETAILS!

I found it for free, go to www.directdownloads.com, (http://www.directdownloads.com,) click on "APPZ", then do a search for it on thier search engine, you'll get a couple links to sites that have it for download.

One of the links that came up that worked for me is http://www.geocities.com/steves_homepage/cvgs.htm
But when you download the file the zip asks you for a password. The site says (Read Faq for Info) but where is the faq? And whats the Password the zip file? There is also another file called winsplitt.class at the same place but i am clueless to what it is or does.
Let us know if you find the password.
cheers
