Dear friends,
I have been around this forums for a long time just passively observing and making few comments occasionally.
I longed to be an active member of this community but my work has kept me busy.Since i am on a vacation for a couple of days
i decided to use my free time to chip in my bit for the community.Hope you find my efforts worthwhile.
MultiEditor is a couple of utilities which i had first developed to fulfill my patching
needs when Fifa 06 was around, but due to one reason or another i never launched it.
The reason i clubbed my utilities into a single Editor is that it is much more easier to manage and
maintain and you as an end-user would not have to keep separate small utilities lying around your computer.
I will keep on adding new applications to MultiEditor as and when i get time. I am open to any suggestions
or new requirements and if it is within my capabilities i will definitely implement them in future versions
of MultiEditor.Currently this version contains two applications namely,
1)Config Editor:
Config editor is an easy to use notepad like interface which can directly open config.dat and ini.big
files. You can change the data and save it easily without having to bother about complicated steps to pack
and unpack the ini files. This editor is using FifaFs as its engine and can be best described as a GUI for
FifaFs.So all credit actually goes to the wonderful FifaFs application.

2)Global Stats Editor:
This is another editor which has been lying around in my pc catching dust and probably the main reason
why i am launching MultiEditor. The only reason i think i had not launched it back then in 2006 is that
i dont have any knowledge about the Fifa.db database and my editor actually depends upon the UniDb 4.0
database converter created by Hercules for Fifa 2006.Amazingly this converter still works for Fifa 09.So
inorder to make my editor work you will have to first convert the Fifa.db file to MS Access file using
UniDB and then edit the stats.Personally i feel that this editor would have been more at home as a feature
in Rinaldo's DB Master 09 Editor. If he decides to use this idea in his DB Master i have no problems.
The idea behind this editor is to change any stats of a group of players say only defenders or only
strikers or Goalkeepers. The result is a huge improvement in gameplay that can be obtained if you correctly
modify the stats and you will feel like you are actually playing a more balanced and realistic game.
I think that a forum member called Germoretto has already discovered this a while ago and you can check the result in his
amazing gameplay patches.

Please report any bugs you might find as this Editor is still a work in progress

Hi rickedd there are a lot of settings which can be altered but it would need a lot of experimentation and patience on your part. One thing i can help you with is set the option SKIP_FE=0 to SKIP_FE=1 in common.ini file this option skips all the front end and directly starts the game, this way you can quickly check whatever settings you are changing;)

Hi DeViLl0o there is already an option for searching text.just right click on the text area and choose "Find".If the find dialog does not display then close Config Editor and try again;)
