Alright, weve all played Fifa 10.. its **** in the graphics area.
Well i found another post about fifa 09 somewhere and found that it will work on 10 aswell. heres what you gotta do.

Go to EA Sports\Fifa 10\Data\cmn\

Open cfg_pc_h.ini (the 'h' is high quality graphics, so choose the 1s depending on what your settings are at.

Change RENDER_RATE_MODE = 7, to 2 or 3. This will improve performance significantly. Dont go to 1 or the game will go slow motion.

Ok heres the 2nd trick, this will make the players look better from far away and there faces wont look like fifa99.

Open the same file you opened before and scroll down.
Find this:
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_NEAR = -1.0
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_FAR = 1.806
PLAYER_LOD_MED_NEAR = 1.856
PLAYER_LOD_MED_FAR = 0.714

Ok now highlight this and delete it and replace it with this:

Nevermind. It worked now cause i removed the file from the game and put it in desktop. Then moved it back into the game.

if anyone running fifa 10 on windows 7 and experience choppy graphics, go to guru3d.com and download nvidia 190.03 drivers. Those drivers resolve every issue with fifa 10.

i have done this & see no change. i know you said slight, but its not there for me.

ummm, maybe your graphics settings are different, apply those changes up there to every cfg_pc in the folder (h,m,l). tell me how it goes

Hehe, i run my Fifa10.exe tru Ati Tray Tools, with everything maxed out (AAx16 AFx16, Vsync and so on) :D

those settings i just posted there made my nets on fifa very HQ and made them look as they were patched. hope it does that for your fifa aswell

I tried to change the values to be exactly the same with your setting, and yes it looks better, but I feel my player's move seems not smooth, may be because my PC or my GPU 's not strong enough (AMD 64 X2 3000+, NVIDIA 7300GS, almost 2 years old). So what -1.0, 0.1 and 0.01 means? which one loads the GPU more? Can I compromise the setting, tuning down the level of detail a little, to maintain the perform?

try duong's patch.. It uses the same config_h.ini, but somehow it doesnt slow down the game.. And the game's graphics feels better too..

i use ATI HD 4850 512 DDR3,and i optimized graphic option at ATI control catralyst center ;)
