Is anybody working on how to edit the games? (Xbox/PS3)

I would be willing to create graphics (kits, flags, fonts etc) if this is at all possible to add teams (maybe leagues) to the console versions.

I am just a bit disappointed that the ps2 and pc versions got the Russian league but was left out of the next-gen versions, also would want to create a few more eastern European teams, Partizan, Steaua and the likes and if you want some too just ask, all theoretical at this point of course

If anyone is doing this please reply!!!

wouldnt you need a modchip to edit files on disc, re-burn to a backup then play the back up with the modded console? as far as i am ware ps3 has no mod chip, xbox 360 might though i have no idea about that.

xbox 360 can this ;)

maybe someone has to start a project and tools that enable editing savefile for PS3, just like what can be done with PES 2008 and PES2009 in optionfile.

If you asked me, well I don't really know. For one, I don't have PS3 or xbox360, so I can't experiment on that NG console.

But of course, I'm interested on having one and maybe try to figure out on how to edit files in the console harddisk, provided you can access via network.

PES patch maker did that for pes editing.

I can post up a few files from my Xbox360 disk if people want to take a look at them, could give it a kickstart.

If EA can add on downloadable content it must surely be possible for us to add/change it on our own?

I think the method would probably be close to what is described above, so if the file format of xbox can be decoded I think something like this should be possible shouldn't it?

xbox 360 disc drive has been modded to play backups already.
wii has been modded also, no current mods for the ps3.

but it is not possible to mod any console games, as there are no tools,
files are different from pc, & you would lose online game play.

Ok well thanks for giving me the info :)

Now I just have to hope EA release the Russian league for download, I can't stand the PC graphics since playing it on the Xbox.

Guys,

I'm wondering about reverse editing; ie: taking files from Xbox360 to use for the PC. Speifically from the upcoming WC2010 games. ;)

highly doubt it, especially if you are talking about files like o models.

maybe graphics (kits, logos, etc) might be possible.

but who you know who could & would take the time to reverse engineer the game ?

I would like to change my team's uniform in Fifa 10 for PS3, does anyone think it would be possible to analyze some DLC and insert new kit image files? An example is the Oklahoma City DLC for NBA Live 09, where it provides new uniforms and logos for the OKC Thunder.

I make 3D models in Maya and texture them with Photoshop at work, so if anyone could figure out how to put the new textures into the game I'd be glad to help them out with any new kit textures.
