They qualified at 1966 England WC, lost at Portugal by 3-5 although they scored 3 goals first. They beat Italy by 1-0 at group stage - which elminated Italy, so there was a flag 'Again 1966' on the stadium when South Korea met Italy at 2002 WC.
This idea says that world doesn't need to support North Korea (?) Plentiful of black money. :browsmiley:
Eriksson shouldn't go, he knows that North Korea is a vending machine of points (Nothing better than Iran or Saudi Arabia which already failed). Always using 9-0-1 system/defensive when playing with teams which are better or similar to them.
If North Korea fails at qualifying round of 16, people will find him working at a mine and although he does well, his salary would be paid by a box of supernote. Damn! :(
I heard that he refused the offer of North Korea after seeing the match North Korea vs Congo which end by 0-0

Like a true communist state, the players are probably swimming in illegal doping.
