I don't seem to have any shadows from my players or ball but have shadows from the stadium etc.

This is only with FIFA 10 as FIFA 09 is OK

Could anyone please help and try and find out why this is so as the game looks poor with no shadows...

I would post a screenshot but I don't know how to do this could anyone please help me with this also...

Is graphics overall quality set to "average" or "high"?

If memory helps, the low quality setting disables shadows.

yes its set to high and I have 1GB Memory
I really can't understand this as there is no problems with FIFA 09..

I had a small problem with my cfg and I had undetailed shadows even on High specs until I changed this it a bit (in Demo), but I've had shadows, at least.

ok,i fixed it...just go to game settings and put everything on high and put shadows -on-

What Graphic Card do you guys have?

When entered in the game, go on game settings and turn ON in shadows. It can be all on low, just turn ON in shadows bar. (Y)

I Think it's to do with the video RAM on the graphics card.. , as on my laptop there is an on board graphics chipset with 128MB RAM and I have the problem. On my Desktop I had a Radeon Graphics card but again it only has 128MB of video RAM. I updated this with a Radeon Card with 256 RAM and hey presto! I got my shadows...

so anyone having no shadows check your video cards and the amount of video RAM.

guys i dunno wat d prob is but it dfntly has nothin to do with game settings..coz i turned on d shadows in game settings and put evrythin on high..still no shadows...fifa 09 works fin and thr r better graphics in dat...so wat is wrong with fifa 10?...guess it got 2 do with graphics card or sumthin..iv an onboard graphics chipset.

Did the game have no shadows when you first installed FIFA? Does it happen in all stadiums in all time of days?

You gotta provide more information regarding when this started happening. What you installed / patched / etc.

I think I have this issue in ONE stadium at one time of day. I think it happened when I installed a turf patch. I'll try to check if that one stadium still doesn't have shadows. But yeah I have shadows in all other stadiums. So I don't know what's goin on sj25. I'd like to help but I need more info as to what you installed to make that happen.

the game has no shadows from the very beginning..d stadium shadow is thr..d goal shadow is thr..but no player or ball shadow..and it happens in all the stadiums at all times.

So what? For me it's good enough. A better graphic card wouldn't be bad, but i don't care, for two games on my computer it's good. Most time on my computer I spend in making patches for FIFA, and for that I don't need better graphic card. And when I want to play some games I came here, to my brother's computer :innocent_smile_1:. I better use to spend my money on some other things.

dude there is no option of ediring the visual in the middle of a game!!!! i am having the same problem and would like a solution!!
