it has to be TAIBI ... ive never seen anyone be so dramatic and pull of so many rolls and dives and still not even get a touch to the ball. Oh .. we are talking about the BEST .. in that case for the all time GREAT it would have to be Schmiechal or Chivalet (the free kick specialist goalie).

As for goalies to look out for in the future my favourites right now would have to be CASSILLIAS and that new keeper for Leeds.

Yashin 1st, Zoff 2nd, Banks 3rd.

Lev Yashin is definately the world's best. During the peak of the cold war in 1962 when soviet Union was considered an evil empire that wants to destroy the whole world by uncompormissed military actions (which was not true, obviously), Yashi still got the best player of the year award, the first and only keeper to do so.

As for this year's, I'd choose Fabien Barthez. There is nothing overated about him, he was sharp this year and manu finally got the safest hands they needed since Schmiechel's best years.

As you should know, Oliver Kahn has been voted to the best european Goalkeeper at the middle of the year.
I think he's the best in the world!

yeah I say in the national teams, Toldo is the best, but he under performed for Fiorentina.
