NEW IN VERSION 1.1: Added two new functions:
1) the program can process generic goalkeeper kits
2) the program can process referee kits giving them a black armband for the right wrist tape.

INSTALLATION: Just run this video setup and then use Armband Tool 10 to install the model you want and start processing kits of your fifa 10 leagues.

NET Framework 2.0 or higher is required for the Armband Tool 10!!!

NOTE: This patch and the program should work properly also under 64bit systems.

FEATURES:
The Armband Patch 10, editing the player models, provide a new way of having captain armbands ingame. After the patch installation you are allowed to give a different armband to each kits of each team with Creation Master 10 built-in function. This is not possible with original Fifa 10 that has only one armband for all teams and kits.

NOTE: The installation of a patched player model means also that, if you don't insert an armband file for the kit of the team, you will see a red-green missing texture as armband of that kit. To avoid this you have to install armbands textures to as many teams as possible. You can do this quickly (doing a whole league at once or even all teams of the game) with Armband Tool 10. Then, use CM10 built-in function, to import a single armband for a single team if you want.

NOTE: The way to patch the player model to have a different armband for each team has a side effect: every right wrist band (of every player of the team) now has the colour of the first top-left pixel of the armband. This is the solution I found not to be obliged to completely delete right wrist band from the model. A small side effect I think, afterall...

NOTE: please read the Help file of the Armband Tool 10 to know how to use it properly!

CM10 COMPATIBILITY:

Thanks to Rinaldo the CM10 has been built to be compatible with this patch. After the installation of this patch with the setup you should be able to edit armbands in the CM10.

KNOWN ISSUE CM10: for a known issue of the current CM10 version, if you import a kit without re-importing the armband, the default Milan Unicef armband will be imported with the kit instead of the one you had. So please, every time you want to change a kit, remember to re-import also the armband.

UNINSTALLATION:
To uninstall only the models (having original FIFA 10 armband system back) you can use the Armband Tool 10.
If instead you want to completely delete everything about this patch (and also the possibility to edit armbands from CM10) please run the uninstaller you find in the program folder...

Old things:

As you know the patch will allow you to add an armband for each kit in Creation Master 10.
Moreover, given that, with the patch installed, all teams would have a missing texture armband and given that you are not supposed to be so patient to create the armband for each team in the game, I have created a program to process all kits of the same league (or of all leagues) at one time giving them the same generic armband. Here you are two pics of the program:

It only retrieves info from the db but then, it edits only kits graphic files...

1) i will as well send u all the armbands i have done so far
2) plz mate do try, u knw i have actually made a v1.0 version of the ucl armband patch and its for bth long and short sleeves, so if u can make the armband patch its up to u to decide which 1 u want to use. And i have adjsted the the normal armband so nw it is nt next to the shoulder but in the middle of the arm. U can check them in my thread mte


P.S : How is the KitModel Switcher going? I am currently doing 3/4 sleeve patch and i thought perhaps u could include the option of a sleeve switcher in ur KM10. I have fixed the two bugs adding two special leagues:
"generic GK kits"
"referee kits" (it will assign a black armband)

Re-download the patch, reinstall on the same position you used before and enjoy :)

Of course the two operations (changing generic gk kits and especially referee kits) are supposed to be operations "once and for all" :D

nah mate it dnt, cause i wasnt able to send my armbands (containing fixed versions of previous 1s as well as new 1s including ajax) and Outsider used my old 1s. But i can give u my armbands as a zip and all u will have to do is simply replace the folder and thats it ;)

If you installed the Skeptik's last untucked patch (the one with mixed tucked-untucked-semi, etc) you will not see the patch applied... For the moment Armband Patch 10 is not compatible with that particular patch :(

No man wait. I don't mean that you don't have to choose skeptik model in my tool. I mean that if you previously installed his patch, you have to restore the original bescene.cs file in FIFA 10\data to let the patch work properly ;)

The original bescene file but are the shirts then still untucked?

It works great now Outsider, copied the original bescene.cs from the cd to the datafolder and all armbands are showing now ingame thanks (Y)

In the installation folder of the program (the armband tool) you find two files with reg extension. Double click on the one appropriate to your system (32bit or 64bit) and confirm you want to apply changes to your registry.
Now it should work :)

Man, what you ask me is very difficult unfortunately... Let me explain better: for the armband tool it is better that you remake everything in the second PC using the tool.
If instead you mean only that you want to keep the armbands you specifically imported with CM10, everything works as always, so your files will be in the location you defined in CM options and the armband is an added texture in the t75 fsh kit file ;) In this particular case you still have to install the armband tool in the new PC and run it at least one time to install a player model with the patch applied.

The easiest way in the world? Copy all zdata you have from the first PC to the second and regenerate :D

The program here cannot make fifafs.exe run in your FIFA 10 folder. Please make sure fifafs.exe is in your FIFA 10 folder (it should be copied by the program everytime it needs, but...) and make sure that you have admin rights to edit FIFA 10 directory, to run my program and to run fifafs.exe :D

It is not necessary to reinstall everything. Just copy the zdata_xx.big files from the data folder of the dvd into the FIFA 10\data folder and regenerate.

It is the away kit of a team you inserted... Find the team with ID 123001 with CM10 and reimport the away kit...

I didnt know this tool already existed for FIFA 10, its great! I have a question, does it work the same as kit switcher so you have to give the armbands to each team before the game starts or you can import all the armbands you want, save and then just play?

@ASNL1234: U will see the go button only if u select a model to patch..from the pic it can be seen that you have chosen the original(no patch) model..change it to normal, normal hq or skeptik's model then u will see ur go botton..it's a bit confusing to start with but once you get to use it a couple of times it will be quite easy to patch entire leagues with a single button press..

nevermind, i installed the program and it indeed allows you to have a different armband for every team so its great! i really recommend it.

How long should this tool regenerate? It has been regenerating for about 14 hours now and I'm just wondering whether it is stuck at something or is it supposed to do that?

There is surely something wrong with it... but I don't know. Just retry and, if the regeneration does not stop after 2 minutes, kill the fifafs.exe process in the processes list.
Then go into the Armband Tool 10 folder and post here the fifafs0.log text ;)

I re-installed it (I still had v1.0) and started it again. It did it again and I decided to kill fifafs.exe process whichafter the program released me to continue to next level to selectto leagues I want to make the patch to. I try to arrange some time today or latest tomorrow to test it inside FIFA10 to see if it worked all the way.

OK, armbands are visible, kits are great but i.e. some of the Olympiakos players did not have their heads when I played against them in a friendly match. Also the game crashed in second half.

I quick simmed it afterwards and next I look if the result is same with friendly against Inter.
