CINEMATICS PATCH 10 VERSION 1.0

Given that I'm not sure to release another version of the patch, this is the fix for the problem of black screen during formation with some stadiums:

Download the fix, unzip and insert the script.bin in the last zdata you have with File Master 10 ;)

FEATURES:
- new intro for important and less-important club matches with much more popups than original ones and with much more atmosphere. Formations popups are shown with aero views of the stadiums that change for every stadium! Inserted also cinematics to show referee name popup
- new intro for national teams matches
- new corner-kicks cinematics showing goalkeeper instructing players, showing players jostling and much more
- added new throw-ins popup
- new shoot-out intro cinematics directly taken from WC06 game
- new shoot-out win/loose cinematics directly taken from WC06 game
- new cup winners celebration taken & adapted from UCL game
- some bug fixing.

In the future versions much more will be added for free kicks, half-time cinematics, substitutions, fouls, cards, etc.


NOTE: I forgot to say in the setup notes but, of course, everything works good with every patch and stadium you have.
As you can read in the setup there are two versions:
NORMAL ONE: the default that is installed with all popups and so on:

Hi guys, here I am for my new cinematics patch. I want to talk you about a new fantastic possibility. I found a way to make a different intro cinematic (or whatever you want, in fact) for every stadium and a different cinematic (sub o whatever you want) for every player I want. For example I can set that a player is always discontent to be subbed off.
I can literaly build personal cinematics for every player you want. So guys I need your help: tell me:
1) what match you see on TV (I mean the country) and how is the intro and which popups are shown. I will try to reproduce it as good as I can for the stadiums of that country...
1b) how tv broadcast distinguish between an important match and a less important one about intro?
2) every other particular thing that happen in particular stadiums and that you know can be reproduced with fifa cinematics. So don't tell me that you want to see the cinematic with the player using hands (who said Henry?) to punch the referee.
3) every singularity you know about a player that can be reproduced with fifa cinematics. If you know that a player, when subbed, is always discontent, tell me and I will reproduce it in the game. If you know that a player is known to argue a lot with referee for a yellow card tell me and I will try (not sure to make it work, for the moment I tried only with subs) to reproduce it.

I think I can distinguish between cup celebrations based upon the stadium too, but unfortunately I have not so much material to use for cup celebrations given that Euro/WC games ones don't work :(

That's wrong. I cannot create cinematics from scratch neither player movements... I can only assign already existent cinematics movements to whatever stadium/player I want. The new in the thing is that I can assign a cinematic to a particular stadium of player where, till now, nobody thought that this was possible in other situations different from goal celebrations (players) and aerial intros (stadiums).

I have an idea as it would be before the match that could have such a loud passage, or encouraging words to come on. But he could also choose the volume and 3 with two captain of a small coin tossing well. But it may be that stupid... :$ :D

Well man, you are confusing animations with cinematics. I'm talking about cinematics (non-interactive scene), not gameplay player movements...

In the Dutch Eredivisie:
- Players are standing next to each other like the current national teams in FIFA.
- Shown popups before the game are: Referee name, team line up (list), team formation. No commentary names popup. Further all popups are shown.

- Players who are not happy to be substituted.

Can I ask a simple request for my world cup patch?

Essentially you can leave the aerial intros as they are as i'm not going to import any new stadiums due to crowds bug. Can you add the players walking into lineup, the commentators and referee popup cinematics?

can you remove the cinematic when players scored a goal?

Great news, outsider..
I miss 1 cinematic from fifa10. Before throw in, a player from oposite team take the ball and try to throw in. The team that has the throw in, ask the ball, and the ball s thrown away. Fifa09 has it, but missed by fifa10. Can you make this scene happened only in the last quarter minutes and only when the losing side has the throw in. The winning side does it to buy times.
Second, I found, after a hard tackle, fifa10 put wrong cinematics. It's the player who make the foul who's angry and pointing to his victim, and complain that he's kicked badly. Fifa09 has the same scene, but it was the victim does it. And I think fifa09 is right.

Whoever mentioned the coin toss is a genius lol, they always toss a coin to determine who kicks off first, if this could be implemented into the game it would be fantastic!

Interesting project indeed! Any possibility of using Fifa manager 09 cinematics? AFAIK, it has a few cinematics only found in FM09 or may be FM10

At greek derbys (like Panathinaikos-Olympiakos), the camera focuses a lot on the atmosphere at the seats, showing the crowd and the torches and all that stuff. All these before the teams enter the pitch.

Impossible man. A fix of the ingame camera cannot fix problems that are due to cinematics... unless the program made by MD for camera, accidentally, edit also the cinematics file, but I doubt so...

By the way guys unfortunately I think you will have to wait January to see this patch released... I will see if I can make something (a first light version) for Christmas, but I cannot promise you anything...

Well, you don't juggle anything: it is a pre-made cinematic like all the other one, it is NOT interactive :D

I am in New Zealand untill 19th of Jan so i cannot do any editing here; but when i get back to Australia maybe there could be an update to my patch, with your help Outsider, in terms of cinematics ;)

Thanks for all of your great work Outsider, I think its time to say "screw you Money Dragon" and all of the rest of you patch makers that think you are so special. Frankly I could care less if Monkey Dragon release another tool for the rest of his life as he has forgot what patching is all about. What really pisses me off is these guys have no life so they post their tools on the site to excite people knowing damn well they wont release them because someone used their kits or their templates without asking them and the whole thing is a cry for attention. I think your more of a Monkey and less of a Dragon. Once again thanks Outsider for being mature and keeping FIFA alive.

Finally the referee. There will be different cinematics showing referee and the game will choose one among the group, randomly, every time. Here you can see the one with referee asking goalkepeers if it is all ok before starting (just like you see in Ps3&Xbox360 cinematics!!!).

But it's not over. This is the first intro, but I plan to make other 3-4 versions. One for finals, one for big popups (like in the v2 first screen, so without commentary popups and referee popups because they cannot be shown with those big popups), one for less important matches and a different one for important matches always with lineup but done in a different way... players will celebrate if they score BEFORE the cinematic. just like in EURO 2008

I don't really know. The only working cinematics of WC06 are shoot-out ones unfortunately :(

I do have one feedback though, for your match intro cut scenes, i noticed players are in the tunnel, start moving out, and then the scene is immediately cut to the part where players are standing in a straight line, which is kinda awkward. Is is possible to add back the scenes where players actually run out of the tunnel, chatting with one another and stuff, before showing them standing in line? :)

For example I plan to make a particular intro for final (I will release that version with a tool asking you which is the final stadium you want to assign that intro) showing something new (maybe also players doing tricks as someone asked) and showing also faces of some players in particular like PES does...

If you mean the texturing problem after substitution, in FIFA 09 the problem was the match played in a imported stadium that had no stadium shot in the middle of the substitution. This year there is the referee and I have changed in the cinematics patch the structure of that cine in order to make the game think that that is a stadium cinematic valid for every stadium: if this does not work, I don't sincerely know what else I can make from cinematics!!!

Now that I remember those errors are not related to cinematics. Those errors are due to wrong regenerations or importing process. Please regenerate your fat with Fifamania Regenerator 10 and you should fix that.
The other problem that occured because there was no cinematic for the imported stadium at subs was the disapperance of all players keeping only the shadows of players and ball in the pitch. This was fixed by Cinematics Patch 09 for FIFA 09 and this does not occur anymore in FIFA 10 original, neither with Cinematics Patch 10.
Your problem is finally due to wrong regeneration!

It is not a cinematic and that bug is there from ages and not related at all with cinematics. Maybe it is the first time you encounter it with Fifa10, but it is there from ages. Simply, moving the camera for the free kick, you come in the sight line of a player (though usually it is the referee) and that's the result!

I know that when a matter is almost unknown (cinematics editing), every strange thing you see after installing that patch, you think can be due to cinematic, but it is not really the case :D Only errors in cinematics can be cinematics patch bugs. An example? In the video, at shoot-out new intro, you can see the referee keeping the ball in the right hand in a very strange way while he is walking with the goalkeepers towards the net. I will fix this cinematic bug in the next version deleting that WC06 cinematic that seems not to be fully compatible (the ball should be kept by the referee in the left arm, as you can see from his arm position) with FIFA 10 ;)

I did a thing wrong in the setup. Delete miobello.bin in zdata_98. Reinstall the normal version (not the big popup one) for the moment, sorry...
If still does not work check the fifa.fat size: if it is more than 292 kb, you have reached the fifa.fat limit.

This is very very strange. Restore your original motion.big in data\cmn\be and your zdata_36.big. Now reinstall the patch!

Ok, then use File Master 10 to import things.
Install cinematics patch where you want and when the black DOS window appear shut it immediately down without waiting for its completion. Now open File master 10 and browse, in the left column, until finding and opening on the left FIFA 10\data\zdata_XX.big where XX is the highest number you have. Click on import button and import the script.bin you find in the Cinematics Patch 10\zdata folder where you installed my patch.
Then, go to File Master 10 options and UNCKECK the option "compress when importing",that is the first one. Press OK and now browse on the left until opening FIFA 10\data\cmn\be\motion.big. Here click on import button and select all files that you find in Cinematics Patch 10\motion folder. Now regenerate with Fifamania Regenerator 10 and try to start the game: it should work.

No mate, miobello.bin was my error of first setup :D
miobello.bin is not read by the game so the truth is that, with the old setup, if you installed the "big popup version" after the normal version, you saw no differences because the game still read the script.bin of the normal version (because the big popup one installed the fake miobello.bin). Now that I have done the new setup, just re-download and reinstall this. This time the "big popup" version will overwrite the script.bin in the right way.
In any case, you can delete miobello.bin whenever you want :D

Outsider, i hear great things about your patch and I want to install it. But I heard that it also makes the game intros out of sequence somewhat. I'd really like to have your corner kicks cinematic and your penalty kick intro cinematic from world cup 06, but I want to have the best game intros possible without it being out of sequence.

Is there any way that I can install some of your cinematic sequences but not others? Or is there a new version of your cinematics coming soon that fixes the out of sequence game intros?

It seems as if on game intros there has been reported that things are out of sequence. Do you notice this sj25?

d intro of d players cumin out of d tunnel and d lineup is similar to dat of outsider's cinematics 09(only in this instance..thr r lots of new stuff in d patch)..so if u hav used it ul kno wat i mean...wat duong prbly meant was dat after d players come out of d tunnel dey r shown standing in a line..he wanted d players chatting scenes dat d original ea has..it is not actually out of sequence..y dnt u do 1 thing..install it and try it..if u dnt lik it uninstall it as thrs an easy uninstallation option available with d patch.

Ha! I know I won't get AIDS, but I want to make sure that my version of FIFA10 won't get AIDS. Well it may or may not be a glitch, but if the sequence is unrealistic and the game intro isn't as good as the default game intro, then I probably won't install the patch. As I said, I'd like to have the corner kick cinematic he added, but I don't want to have any game intro sequencing issues on my game. So I may have to wait for an updated cinematics patch.

Everything I know now is on the hands of regularcat, Skeptik and MonkeyDragon. Monkeydragon is the more indicated person to ask about cinematics given that he has also some knowledge of files, the one that I don't have. If you ask them, they will give you a program made by Krystian82 that allows the editing of script.bin. It is a beta version never finished, but it was the first tool really working on script editing. I could tell you to ask Krystian for the structure of the script.bin, but unfortunately Krystian does not speak English, so it would be a bit difficult :(
Anyway I think that MonkeyDragon now almost know also the script structure, so you can ask everything to him!

And I think that you and Ariel should really talk with MonkeyDragon and do something together: it is useless to have 3 different cinematics patches, better to have one, great cinematics patch!!!!!!!

YES, He will be honoured too. But you're right, no point of having multiple cinematic projects, hence I just wait for the next cinematics from anyone.

ive looked into krystians program & it shows me the list of viv files, i want to reorder them, but how exactly do i watch the actual cinematic, so i know what to put where ?

even if i reorder then using the 09 previewer just opens fifa, i guess i have to play to see the changes ?

Taking into consideration the tools provided by me to Skeptik, you have to use cinematics viewer 09 to preview cinematics files (after having imported the viv files in fifa 09 motion.big) and you have to use cinema evo 09 to edit the script.bin copying and pasting cinematics from other script.bin of other games.
About viewing directly the cinematics, surely MonkeyDragon will give you and me soon his cinematics viewer 10 ;)

there is nothing wrong w/ keeping things to yourself.

if you spent all the time making something then thats your choice.

if people were more greatful of the things people do, people would share more often.

so for the people who arent so greatful spent the time making mods instead of complaining

only the major leagues from unavailable major leaques which are recognised and important(dont feel offended anyone please) like

AMERICA_argentina,brazil,mexico EUROPE_russia,ukraine,greece,turkey,croatia,romani a and if im missing anyone

MAJOR UPGRADES on already available leagues and created ones_major stadiums,all the kits,tournaments database updated,and european clubs champions league compatible,south american major tournaments,flags and adboards.

This is a very nice patch. Can you make a cup winning celebration that has the players lifting the trophy like in FIFA 06? that would be great.

Ahh, that sucks. Well, at least is it possible to take out the 2 preview-like scenes of the match that flash during the intro as the players walk out the tunnel? they just dont look good. I would prefer to see them walking out to the pitch without those interruptions.

the throw-in popup is part of the cinematic. if u dont want them, dont use cinematic patch.

Talking about cinematics project: it's a colloboration of me, Outsider and Krystian. I provided CINEMATICS VIEWER while Krystian made CINEMATICS EVO. With this tool, Outsider released CINEMATICS PATCH 09. I think at the moment, he's using this tool to develop CINEMATICS PATCH 10. For me, this year, I myself develop new tool to get easier to edit cinematics. Of course, I have new cine patch for FIFA 10. Now, I can only show you some key features: DYNAMIC INTRO, GOAL CELEB UNIQUE, HOT CUP CELEB... Yup, let's wait for Outsider's patch, it will be really cool for you ;)
