OK, I'll start with the cliches:
In FIFA 2001, having won the Prem on World Class 11 points clear of the second placed team, plus having won the FA Cup final, I played the Champs League final and of course was frustrated when - as often happens - the CPU cheated in order to beat me. I won't go into details it's the usual stuff. Anyway, I really couldn't be bothered to play 40+ matches just so I could win the treble next season cos it would probably only do something annoying again so I just did something I really HATE doing - I replayed it and swore I'd check out this damned ISS Pro everyone goes on about..
I thought cos it's a relatively old game I'd never get hold of it but BLOW ME DOWN there it was in a shop brand new so I bought it and borrowed a friend's PSX.
You don't need me to go on about the gameplay as I'm sure you've heard it all before so I'll just say that it IS nice to lose to a CPU that deserves to win or beat it without doing stupid moves; and the passing and ball movements ARE beautiful to behold.. in fact the way players move or tumble is TOTALLY realistic.. Oh dear I better stop this and get to the point!!
I know there are patches and different versions for FIFA but here is something else that you may not have been told: you can set the commentry - and I mean the play by play AND analysis to English, French or German so you can really get the feel of an away game in the respective countries! Therefore you could make it really feel like the world cup is in France for instance! (Yes I know we watch it on TV in our own language but use your imagination).
Oh man it's soooo wikkid http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
This may not be the real world but oh the delight in England beating Germany in the pissing down rain and I don't know WHAT those German commentators were talking about!!
Watery eyes..
