I can't really be happy with this draw...We were in front!!! We still got to learn a lot. It's not being in front, staying in front is the hard one! If Galatasaray didn't panic at the beginning of the 2nd half, things would be different, but this is a chronical problem of turkish football and even galatasaray couldn't solve it yet...

I feel that AC Milan should of won it and also we were missing Costacurta, Coco, and Albertini...who are 3 of our regular starters, if we had them in the line-up the result surely would have been in favor of AC Milan by at least 2 goals...

Galatasaray did not dissapoint me what so ever...they look excellent but I still feel that if we would have had those 3 players the game would of been ours...

we were also missing more than 3 players. the most important ones were one of our best defense player Hakan Unsal, our best midfielder Emre, and our keeper tafferal. Popescu was playing injured and Umit did not start, don't know why but almost a week ago we had 8 injuries.
so the teams were still even.
and uefa should do something about the violence that happened in the stadium, throwing rocks. one rock came straight to hagi's forehead.

Joe, I'm a AC Milan fan....I also like Man Utd but more of a Milan fan...I didn't know Galatasaray was missing player...so I guess we might of been even...

hey galatasaray was excellent even to the fact they had 3 starters not playing just like milan we tought the italians what real soccer is like i mean we were playing with players that havent played for months like vedat and emre asik u guys should pray to the ref that he was nice to u just like he was nice to herta berlin last year againts us. and they call turks violent hagi almost got blinded by those WEAPONS thrown at them.

Tomorrow is "my" big game. Bayern coming off a 2 game Bundesliga losing streak going up against Lyons. Might not seem tough, but they way they have been playing lately...uh oh.

I just got one question wuz Boban playing today or did that bum Zacheroni bench him? he is the difference on that team with him they win I know Galataseray is a good team and I RESPECT them for wining uefa last year congrats! but they are no match for A.C. Boban didn't play I don't know why!I expected him in the starting eleven, but he didn't even join the game after a substitution. Milan lacked organization last night Boban and Albertini would solve their problem, but Galatasaray wasn't in their perfect squad.

Our left back, Hakan Unsal who scored 2 goals in the first phase is injured,and Emre Belozoglu who has a great force of pressure and attacking potential was suspended.

The possibilities don't count.The game is over and I remind you: Last year Galatasaray beat Milan 3-2 when Milan was in ideal form.

Isn't it funny, last year milan played first half and soccered two goals in two minutes. Galatasaray played great second could not salvage the game. Of course we did not have any free penalty kicks either. I am dissapointed about the draw. We should have win the game. GS players does not seem to understand the value of free kicks. Both goals were scored after stupid mistakes by our defenders. Bulent a defender gave silly corner kick, the other player commited a stupid foul while there GS players was already on the ball.

Finally when team like AC Milan has millions resting on the bench start talking about injuries. Like players sitting on the bench are not all stars. Galatasaray had players injured , but we don't make silly excuses.


I think now Deportivo is the team to beat since they had a great start.
