Just curious about who you want to win when a rival Italian club plays an English club in the Champions league, do you want your rivals to win because they are Italian, or do you hope the lose because you don't like them?

In England most people want Man Utd to lose, but they are very jealous of them .

Good question. In most cases I will root for the Italian club unless that Italian club is stacked with non-italian players, like Inter.

I'm not sure of the logic behind that, but there it is.

I hope this doesn't make me racist, I would just like our Italian clubs to give young Italian players a chance.

I like shearer's response! Man. U is lucky to a degree but I must admit they do play well together as a team but they are still lucky! and everyone likes them without knowing anything about soccer.

Well when any team with United's universal appeal, you will always get people who latch on to them and support them, when they are not what you would call, 'big football fans'
but the true united fans from the north west don't get in the ground so much, because most seats are for season ticket holders and corporate boxes taken up by wealthy types from all over the country.

I think then other teams resent this, but I remember when liverpool had their heyday and you would see people from london supporting liverpool, it happens.

And no way are Utd a lucky team, you make your own luck, by the effort and determination to win, and that gives you that little bit extra in reserve when you need it.

In fact i can't recall utd being lucky, they rarely get penalties and if you mean the European cup final, they earnt that victory, you have to be able to put the ball in the net you know, and theres nothing lucky about the way they did that.
