duong, mr sinistah & i are all having issues w/ mowing patterns being displayed in game.

duong & i are doing everything we can to figure this out.

if you are having this issue as well, list this information in your post.

i need to know these things listed below.

1) lighting patch being used (dmgr, fusion, etc)
2) gfx card (make & model)
3) turf patch (junjoong's, me10ssi's, stingray's, etc)
4) mowing patterns that do show correctly

& hopefully we can narrow this down & come to a resolution.

I have been trying to change mowing patterns in CM10. The only mowing pattern that seems to work is mowing pattern 1. When you select any other mowing pattern, in-game it reverts to a default mowing pattern (which i think is mowing pattern 2).

I even tried exporting and importing the png file from one of the other patterns into the mowing pattern 1 slot and that didn't work either. Is there something about the mowing pattern 1 png file that is recognized by the game or CM10 that the other mowing patterns don't have? If so, why doesn't it recognize other mowing patterns? Have people created actual mowing patterns that work in CM10? I see many screenshots of FIFA 10 PC with circular mowing patterns. How can I choose that mowing pattern? The circular mowing pattern I choose in CM10 does not display and it displays the default rectangular mowing pattern instead.

Has the designer of CM10 resolved this problem? Some people are able to have mowing patterns and others aren't? I ask that those who have knowledge regarding this issue speak up. Regularcat is now retired and he started this thread. For all the hard work that regular cat has done, lets resolve this thread in honor of all his hard work.

i got mine to work, it seems to me that my copy of fifa only seems to read & load mps
1-3 & not the rest.

try importing the mp into any of those slots 1-3 & you might see them in game.

^ yeah 1-3 work but i tried importing the png of a few of the templates of the ones in slots 4-13 into slot 1 and it did not display in game. instead it reverted to template 2. it only worked when i exported the fsh of templates 4-13, then imported those .fsh files into slots 1-3. it did not work when i imported the png.

are there any other mow patterns out there besides the 13 default mow patterns that you recommend?

I should add for reference that after further testing, I have to conclude that even when you export the fsh of templates 4-13 and import them into slot 1, 2, or 3, only a few of those templates appear in game. For example, the circular mowing pattern template doesn't appear in-game even after you export it and import it into slot 1, 2, or 3.

the template 8 (the diamond mowing pattern) fsh appears in-game when you import it into slot 3. But almost all the other templates (including the template you can export from the 0 slot) do not appear in game when you import them.

What I am trying to figure out regular cat is which mowing patterns are people using when I see custom mowing pattern screenshots that people post. Do people share their custom mowing patterns to the extent that they share kits or stadiums?

Do you have to overwrite the file in slot 1-3 via File Master 10 outside of CM10 if you download custom mowing patterns to get it to appear in-game? Where can you download custom mowing patterns that work via this method? Hopefully this thread can be a resource to those having trouble with getting their mowing pattern to appear in-game.
