i am starting to beleive the only reason they put this powerbar in the game is too slow your player down that few extra steps so the defence can mow him down. and you still cant lob into empty space.

i also want to add to the person that told me to visit and write to the ea.com forum. it is slow, signing up is a joke and it looks like they have taken out all the complaints people have posted about the game because every post is usually about getting hints or fixing up windows errors.
