Liverpool will now play finns Haka FC, because Maccabi Haifa put the banned player on the list! Athought i am not a Liverpool fan, but i can say, that it's a great news for Liverpool fans. Good luck to'em.

Don't underestimate FC HAKA. They are after all 10 time Finnish league winners. This year they haven't played well in the Finnish league either. Last time Liverpool visited Finland they lost to Kuusysi 1-0 in 1991 (if I remember correctly.) The game will be moved from HAKA's home ground in Valkeakoski to the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. I am sure the match will draw a large audience as Litmanen and Hyypiä will star for Liverpool. But I really hope FC Haka can become the second Finnish team to star ín the UCL since HJK Helsinki in '98. Beating Liverpool won't be an easy job though. For HAKA perhaps impossible when taking into regard they always perform badly in European matches.

Maybe, if they would buy some good players this summer, but i don't think that they will get it. We are going to rule England again! Well, if we won't then, we will rule Europe, because if we won't lose our strenth on England, then it will be lost on CL.

I just lost out on getting tickets two of my friends had to cancel plans of going to the game. Guess I have to watch it on TV like everyone else.

It's more of a ritual preparation for battle as opposed to Morrid Dancing (what's that all about?!) I found this translation at a New Zealand Rugby site, that said it was first performed at a Test match against Wales in 1905, and was met with thunderous applause. The Welsh captain then started to sing the National Anthem, with some of the team joining in through the verse. The crowd got the gist just in time for the chorus, and just blew away the All-Blacks (unfortunately, it's not so easy today)

Anyway here are the words:

Before the Haka is performed by the team, the Haka leader, normally an All Black of Maori descent, will instigate the Haka and spur on those who are to perform the Haka with the following.
