I've been playing FIFA 2001 since it was first released and overtime I've realized that it really is a badly made football game.
The main flaw is that the game is just so...
PREDICTABLE
Whenever the opposition pass/clear/shoot the ball it is obvious where it's going and who it's going to. The players are always in the same places and you can actually prepare for what you're going to do next as you know which player the ball is going to.
Another 2 flaws are firstly that the goalkeepers are 'gods' and by that I mean that they are never booked, and can save the most impossible shots ever.
The other flaw is linked slightly with the last one I mentioned...
LONG RANGE SHOTS
They never go in unless the goalkeeper is completely away from his goal or he's punched it out to you so you can score an incredibly easy bicycle kick.
So come on EA SPORTS do it for us for a change and make FIFA 2002 the one to play.

I do. We all do. With a new aimin, or whatever, patch, the iss patch in the downloads center, you can get easier long shots, but still the goals from 40 yards are predictable.
