Hello guys,

I have a question that may sound very rookie, which is okay for me since I havent been playing Fifa on the Xbox for more than 3 months, but I am going to ask you experts anyway.

I have a problem with one-two passes. You know where you pass the ball, run forward and recieve the ball again from the guy you passed it to. I sometimes play against a buddy and he uses this feature all the time and I just cant close it down. So frustrating!!

The thing is that the player I choose to follow and tackle the initial passer of the one-two combo, cant keep up with him, when the combination is made. This means that I lose a lot of ground to the combining player, which makes it easy for the other team to pass their way to being completely free.

What am I doing wrong defensively? I am very careful not to choose the wrong player to confront the opponents player - meaning that I dont take a central midfielder out on the wing to tackle the opponent. Here I am very controlled in using the correct player so that there arent any "holes" in the defense all of a sudden.
I should maybe say that I have a style where I apply a high pressure and try to take the ball on the opponents side of the field. Normally I am ok successfull with this style but it fails miserably against a player whose only trick is the one-two combo. Should I be more defensive?

Please help me if you can - it is so frustrating.

Best regards

Hehe I'm not sure if this is the right information but i just play tight defense on the ballcarrier. I just hold LT and A and block his passes.
