Noooo! Sundayleague.com is chronic - I was part of the original beta testing panel, and quit because teams are impossible to control, and the game is about as funny as being run over by a clown on a motorbike. Hey, thats pretty funny! But avoid SundayLeague like the plague.

Hint: Don't release a single, and instead use all your points to tour and build up popularity, switching from Pubs to Clubs when you start selling Pubs out. And keep your health above 80 by resting.

"I know where he should have put his flag up, and he'd have got plenty of help" raged Ridgewood FC manager Mister Bryan about one the many disallowed goals for Ridgewood FC which cost them the match.

Two Ridgewood FC players were booked when Craig Goode picked the ball up, threw it to Gaz Johnstone who ran down the wing and scored a try.

A. SundayLeague is a professional online football management game, which has taken over 2 years to develop.

Q. How long does the season last?
A. The season lasts approximately 45 days, with cup competitions extending the season to 50 days if you get to the finals.

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games are played once a day, at 3am GMT.

Q. What happens at the end of the season?
A. Get in the top 2, or win the 3rd-6th place play-offs and you get promoted, end up in the bottom 3 and you get relegated.

Q. How do I buy/sell players?
A. At the moment there are no transfers available. Don't forget that this is based on Sunday League football. However, old or unused players will leave your team from time to time and a replacement will be found.
Saying that, a "transfer" market, where you can poach players and perhaps put up your worst players so they will hopefully "get the message" and leave, is being developed an should be available in the near future

Q. If I find tactics that work, what's to stop me from just leaving the team on autoplay?
A. What would happen if Alex Ferguson never turned up for games anymore? Not turning up to check up on your team is not setting a good example to the players, and some of them may well follow suit and not bother turning up themselves.

Q. Why do games on servers 1 & 3 kick off at 3am?
A. The strain on the server is much less at that time of day, and the program performing the game calculations runs much quicker at that time.

Q. Do we see the matches being played?
A. Afraid not. This being the Internet and all, it would just be too much for the server to take for now. Who knows what the future may bring though. We do hope one day to have a highlights package.

Q. My friends are all in a different division. How can I join them?
A. Find their league table using the pull-down menus and if you see a small computer icon next to a team, you can join the division by clicking on the JOIN DIVISION button. Beware that you take over a team in that division, and do not take your own players with you.

Q. How do I change the team information, like the team name, managers name...?
A. Click on the Change information link in the navigation bar, below Team Information, and you can change kit colours and names from there. Remember to hit the confirm button.

Q. According to the manager's watch the game has been played, but I see no result?
A. The program takes a bit of time to perform all of the calulations and the busier the server is, the slower the calculations will be. It can take up to 1 hour for all stats to be updated.

Q. Is there an easier way to check my friends results than going to all of their team pages?
A. Try adding them to your Buddy List (use the search function), and you can see various stats from there. You can even sort all of your friends by league points.

Q. How do I check the results/next round fixtures for the cup competitions?
A. Use the pull-down menu in the top left corner of the Fixtures page and select the competition you wish to view. Using the pull-down menus allows you to select the round you wish to view.

Q. How do I change my players features?
A. From any page where the player names appear (e.g., Team Management), click on the player to be taken to the Player Information page. Here you can change their details, including their face.

Q. What are the best tactics to use?
A. There are no 'best' tactics to use. You need to check the squad you have charge of and play to their strengths. There's no point playing 4 up front if you only have 1 fit striker. Also use the advanced tactics section wisely to change tactics depending on certain situations you may find yourself in.

Q. What about the different aggression settings? Is it worth playing Psycho or Pansy at all?
A. Aggression levels need to be watched if you want a fit squad with no banned players, but certain referees are more/less picky than others. Some will let you off for fighting, while other will send you off for sneezing.

Q. I won my last game 8-0, but using the same tactics in this game I lost 5-1. Why?
A. It could be to do with the weather, the referee (aggression settings) or your opponents tactics. Counter-attacking against an attacking side may work, but would it work against a defensive formation?

Q. What do the symbols by my players names mean?
A. The red cross means your player is injured. The no entry sign is for banned players, and the beer glass means that a player has failed to turn up for some reason or other. Check the recent incidents page for the reasons..

Q. Can we win prizes?
A. prizes are offered for the winners of the competitions in the newspaper. Also this season will see the Elite cup and SundayLeague cup finalists win a copy of Konami's awesome new PSX football game, ISS Pro Evolution 2.

Q. I've seen new faces added to the selection. Can I appear in the game?
A. If you're ugly enough! If you go to the Newspaper - Profiles section, you can submit a picture of yourself and if you are considered appropriate for the game, your caricature will be created and placed in the game.

Q. Is it ok for me to link to SundayLeague from my personal web site?
A. Indeed it is. There are banners available to place on your page if you wish. they are located in the Advert Links section of the Newspaper.

Q. How can I improve my players stats?
A. Stats improve throughout the season now. Some improve faster than others. A training feature will be added in the near future, which will allow for player improvement to be more to the needs of you, as the manager.

Q. Is Conference 1, League 1, Division 1 the best league?
A. At the moment, all of the divisions are equal, as are all of the teams, so no matter who you play against, as long as you both have fit squads, you are on pretty equal terms. Eventually, the top division may be the best with everyone getting promoted up to that level.

Q. If I get to division 1, is that as far as I can go?
A. At the moment the whole game is classed as one big league setup. So a player in C3 L4 D1 would get promoted to C3 L3 D4.

Q. I registered, but have not received a password. what do I do?
A. It usually takes less than 10 minutes to receive a password. If you have not received a password after a day, it may be because you have entered an incorrect email address into your registration form. You will have to register again.

Q. I don't have a match tonight. Can I arrange a friendly against a mate who also doesn't have a match?
A. At the moment, friendlies are not possible. However, they are being worked on and should be available in the near future.

Q. My players aren't very good, and I noticed that one of my opponents players were much better. Is there any way I can improve my players' stats?
A. Players stats automatically improve to a certain level (every player is different). Training will be another way to improve their stats and is also being worked on to be added to the game in the near future.

Q. How do I qualify for all of the cups?
A. LEAGUE CUP All teams play each other within their League (Divisions 1 - 4, 64 teams).
DIVISION CUP All teams play each other within their Division (16 teams).
CHAMPIONS SHIELD All Division winners play a knockout cup against other Division winners from the same Conference (32 teams).
RUNNERS-UP CUP 2nd and 3rd placed teams from all divisions play this cup against each other from the same Conference (64 teams).
ELITE CUP This is for the top 32 Managers, according to the manager table, at the end of the season.
EGG CUP This is for the teams knocked out of the Runners-up cup in the first round (32 teams).
SUNDAYLEAGUE CUP This is the cup to decide who is the server champion. This cup is for the 8 Champions Shield winners only.


Q. What if I want to play, but the season has started?
A. No problem - Teams are managed by an intelligent robot until you register to play.

Q. How is the manager rating worked out?
A. Manager Rating is computed by taking into account the following:
a) Your amount of matches you have won.
b) Your status in the various cups.
c) Your Goals Scored vs Goals Conceded.
d) Your form in your last six league matches.

If you win a match your Manager Rating will go up. Due to the fact there are thousands of managers playing, even if your Manager Rating goes up, your overall Rank may go down.

Just make sure you don't re-register on SERVER 2 ok? If I ain't wrong you can sign up for ANOTHER league on SERVER 3 again since they did not record our e-mail [only 1 same e-mail allowed on each server].

No... you will only be given a code. You can register and enter in the code sent to you by e-mail and choose your own username etc by yourself. Instructions will be included in the e-mail.

on server 1 the game is full, that´s why it doesn´t work

try to register the team play at server 3

I registred but accidentaly double-clicked so I pressed stop and then clicked the registre button again but then it said that all these email adresses had already been registred....I guess it just takes quite a time.
I subscribed about 4 to 5 hours ago so that's still about 18 hours left till the deadline of when the league should be subscribed.....I'll wait till tomorrow, if nothing happens then I'll contact the staff at sundayleague.com

Man... I can't log in with the pass they gave me in the first email... now I requested for lost pass, they gave me ANOTHER different password... Didn't work too. So I requested for pass again... but they said nfsmerc@load.com never existed! What on earth...

Yeah that's what happened when I tried to register the league on server 2 again... server 1's full too. As for server 3, all the emails has been registered by philler, hence I can't register there too...

I guess we'll just have to wait patiently for the email from server 3... :o

It's not your password yet... it's the division code... go to server 2, click on this image: http://piggy.sundayleague.com/sundayleague/images/b_regi_code.gif

Next, enter the division code, then enter your details and desired username. Submit and check your mail for your password. Then click on the link they gave you and enter your username and password in the box. If you want to change your password, click on Account Details after you have been logged in.

This is how i got it to work...
I went to sundayleague.com.
Clicked on server 2.
Put in the Division code we got.
Fill out the info.
Get your password.
Go back to the main page and click on server 2 and put in your username and pass.
Then you should be in.

Because the link they give you when you get your password is for server 1 for some reason. :D

Hope you can understand that. :D

Enter the code, your email, desired username, etc., then submit and wait for another mail. It will contain your password. Go to server 2 and enter your pass and you're in the league...

as far as i can make out there should be 16 teams in the league and when a user creates an account they take over as manager of one of the clubs.... i think :)

Type the email you used to register in the SERVER 2 Lost Password box. Wait for them to send your password again.

Did you click on their link or did you go there by your self? The link given to us by email is WRONG... click on server 2 yourself and log in... don't click their link...

BigJohnny is there too.
All you have to do is go to the site click on "server 2". Click on "registar with division code". They will then send you an email. go back to the site and try to log in.
give it a shot. If that dosen't work as far as I can see you can jump leagues if they is room. so if you registar in one league you guys could probably join ours. talk to you guys later I have a Footy tournament today :D

Neither can I... over 3-4 players were missing from my first team squad but I can't replace them with the reserve players! The team management page is blank! I lost the division cup round one 0-6 at home because of that :mad: :mad: :mad:

O well, my other team [also named Manchester United FC], in Conference 6, League 4, Division 3, Server 2 got into the quater finals of the division cup thanks to a 6-0 away victory cos I can access team management... :) :) :)

SundayLeague must must must upgrade their servers or open server 4 and 5 earlier...

suxxx.... I can´t register either, ok no sundayleague for me... it seems like I have already my e-mail used in sundayleague, but I haven´t... I tried to register by accident on wrong server

I resigned from our group league, since everything is not showing up rught in my nfsmerc2 account... like no team management, broken images, games played but reset back to the front of the previous match etc. ALL MESSED.

I'll only use my nfsmerc account cos it's 100% ok. I'll be also waiting for server 5 to open...

Everything seems to have been fixed as of now.
