South, in order to qualify, need 3 unanswered goals, and need for Uruguay to get 2 unanswered of their own ... the hosts are sponsored by adidas, so impossible is nothing ...

Nigeria need to win 2-0, and need Argentina to win 2-0 ...

those are the score I'm hoping for ... if all that doesn't happen, then I just want to see Domenech dumped out, and Uruguay finish top ...

I just want to see how the France Soap Opera is going to turn out tomorrow...

Will the players turn out and play? will they just sit around and not do much on the field? Will Domenech actually turn out and coach??

Tune in to their game to find out..

France are an utter disgrace, 150+ other countries would love to be in place of these hacks, I hope they get knocked the **** out. Mexico and Uruguay have shown a lot more class and quality football in 2 games than France has in 4 years.

How the French circus evolved over the past 2 years:

Euro 2008 Build up - Nasri sits in Henry's seat by accident. Henry gets in a huff. Nasri stands his ground, making him the first Frenchman to do so since Austerlitz. A grudge is born
Euro 2008- France vs. Italy - Domenech has to play Abidal at centerback because he left Mexes out of the squad because Mexes is a Scorpio. When Abidal is sent off, he has to bring on Boumsang. Also, brings on Nasri after injury only to sub him off after red card
Euro 2008 - France are knocked out, having only scored 1 goal
Post Euro 2008 - Domenech also proposes to his girlfriend on tv after getting knocked out, confirming stereotypes about the french being the best lovers
Post Euro 2008 - FFF doesn't fire him. On a completely unrelated note, Domenech runs academies that the FFF depend on
WC 2010 qualifiers - The team is very cliquish. Players from the Antilles, the Muslims, those who play in France, the old timers, and then those who play for bourdeax. No one really likes each other, and the bourdeax contigent and older players hate each other
WC 2010 qualifiers - Can't beat Romania (again), can only beat Lithuania 1-0 at both times of asking, can only beat the Faoroe Islands 1-0. Have to go to a playoff
WC 2010 qualifiers - The Hand of Frog. Henry hires someone to start his car from here on out.
WC 2010 qualifiers - Provisional squad named. Benzema and Nasri don't even make the 30 man squad
WC 2010 Preparations - A lot of players don't like Gourcoff because he's more of a theatre and opera guy than wag and nightclubber
WC 2010 Preparations - Anelka and Ribery don't like Gourcoff is in the first team, won't pass to him or let him take free kicks
WC 2010 Preparations - Group bullies Gourcoff for hair plugs (this might be a joke about Stephen Ireland)
WC 2010 Preparations - Gourcoff pulls an Ireland to get time off
WC 2010 Preparations - Anelka tries to stick up for Gourcoff, but Domenech ignores him. When Anelka is coming out as the paradigm of class, you know you're in trouble
WC 2010 France-Uruguay - After the 0-0 draw, Zidane goes on TV and slags off Domenech
WC 2010 France-Mexico - The older players ask Domenech to change to a 4-4-2 and to bring back Henry for the Mexico game. Domenech agrees, then finds out that Zidane was behind it.
WC 2010 France-Mexico - Anelka and Domenech have at it at half time
WC 2010 France-Mexico - Henry leads the other players to warm up behind the goal, to prevent Domenech from making a sub
WC 2010 France-Mexico - Gourcoff is shown cowering from Ribery during the post came press conference
WC 2010 - Story leaks out about the altercation between Anelka and Domenech
WC 2010 - Anelka gets sent home
WC 2010 - Evra demands mole be sent home for leaking story
WC 2010 - French players refuse to train in protest of Anelka's exclusion
WC 2010 - Domenech reveals that he has a problem convincing all the players to become available for the final group game
WC 2010 - Many high profile sponsors decide to walk away from the national team

The atmosphere in the France dressing room must be really awkward, wonder how Domenech is gonna speak to the players when some of the players don't want to play at all.

Can't see Greece winning this, the only played better after Nigeria got the stupid sending off and they were torn apart by Korea.

Krypton X
22-06-2010, 02:02:PM
Domenech lost control of the dressing room, and lost his grip on reality long ago, the FFF's insistence on keeping him in the job for 6 years is what defies belief.

Henry, Anelka, and a few of the old-timers who destablised the team are finished after the world cup. Laurent Blanc will come and take care of the rest of the trash.

France make six changes, Captain Patrice Evra dropped.

France lineup: Lloris, Sagna, Gallas, Squillaci, Clichy, Diarra (cap), Diaby, Gourcuff, Ribéry, Gignac, Cissé

They might make a game of it afterall.

Huge disappointment. Elimination against Argentina awaits...you guys are lucky to get through ... Mphela's 2 shots off the woodwork -- 1 in the opening match at the death, and one today at the start of the 2nd half -- could have made a world of difference to the standings ...

real shame for South, coz it looked like the miracle scenario was on the cards at one point ... nevertheless, they acquitted themselves well, and one can only wonder what could have been ...

at least Uruguay finished top, and Luis got himself off the mark ...

Quick update for you guys; England are 125/4, chasing Australia's total of 267 with 24 overs to go.

The Argentina game has been a borefest thanks to Rehhagel's men, even cricket is looking good in comparison.

Being swamped by Greek defenders, still forced a couple of top notch saves from the Greek keeper.

Argentina's reserve forwards are better on paper than the regular strikers, but having problems so far getting through the opponents bus.

On the other hand, Argentina's defence is a joke, Samaras on his own is causing all sorts of havoc, four defenders can't even cut out long balls to a single striker.

Sounds like Korea-Nigeria is a much better game.

Big question now is who gets Rehhagel? Maybe send him to England, they can't get any worse atm.
