Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch

After a long waiting period we are happy to present the Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch.
It was made by FIFA International and is finished now, after some months of development time, full of frustration and enjoyment.
This Patch is the biggest Graphic Patch for a FIFA Game in the last years and it will give your FIFA 10 a new realistic atmosphere.

First of all we want to thank all editors, who worked on this Patch. Without you we would never have a Patch in this dimension.

And now some details:
Many people asekd about the system and hardware requirements of the Patch and this should be interesting for you, especially for the persons with an older computer.
The system requirements don't rise, maybe just a little bit, but it can also happen, that FIFA 10 will run better with the Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch.
On the other side the memory requirements ascend explicitly.
During the installation you need up to 3 GB extra memory capacity on the device where you installed FIFA. After the installation it's just between 1,2 GB and 1,4 GB. For a possible deinstallation you need up to 800 MB added memory capacity.

The Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch is one of the few Patches with a completely working deinstallation routine, which also reverses the changings of ingame graphics and zdata-files.
For the installation you need more then 10 minutes, but on slow computer systems it could also take about 60 minutes.
It is pretty easy to install the Patch, but you should first make a backup of your FIFA 10. For this you can use the FIFA 10 Backup Program.
After that you start the Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch Installer and choose the "online version" (online compatible) or the "standard version" (just offline compatible) and follow the instructions, select the "FIFA 10 installation folder" and the other stuff will be done automatically.
You shouldn't interrupt the installation until the black window closes automatically.

Mate i think you still be able to change whatever you want with CM 10 after you install this patch. The other issues relating kits and gameplay don´t appear in the features list so you have edit them yourself.

Only graphics, because db editing where absoluty bad for the users.
That mean you must manually config which stadium use which goal net or update the colour infos for the referee kits and generic goalie kits etc.

I think yes, when you install the NG patch after the Fifamania Patch, but i'm not sure.
The best it you test it but makes before a full backup

Snow not, because there is it only possible to edit the ground but the only way which I know has the big disadvantage that then in every match at the edit daytime is a snow ground

Edit in your cfg_pc_h.ini file in the data\cmn folder the complete block where the Player_lod paramter is and replace this block with the original paramters values of EA.
I think then should it work smoother on bad graphic cards too

The front screen is still FIFAKorea and at the beginning where I should create a profile I enter profile name, click "next" and boom, crash to desktop.

yea reinstall fifa, & stay away from exe patches that change anyting but db & zdata files.

This patch is great! Makes the game looks better than any patch I've tried before, by a fair margin. :33vff3o:

Considering the (small) performance hit, this may be the best graphics patch around. (Y)

I specially like how the player shadows are looking at night. :icon_spin:

But I'd make some remarks:
- There are some FIFA 09 balls mixed (the models are bigger than FIFA10);
- There are patches with better logos for national teams (like FIFA Korea Patch);
- The 3D grass looks too deep and dense (this is just my opinion here);
- The "config_pc_h.ini" could be optimized for more performance (I've restored my previous one);

I may have missed something but there are two different downloads; the 3-part "patch" and then there is "patch_v1". Which one should I install or both of them?

Besides after installing, I thought there'd be some new background images as well but there is nothing, only fonts have changed.

Does anyone happen to know whether there should be some new menu background images or not as in my installation there wasn't any. And if so, where should they be?

Today the FHL has many new graphics for your FHL-Switcher!
The FHL-User Xzentriker and me converted many graphics from the "Next Generation 2010 Graphic Patch" into the FHL-Switcher-Format.
On the one hand you have a big package, which includes all the graphics, on the other hand you have 13 single packages, which includes graphics for each module.

Here you can see the included graphics and the owners:

- 3D Grass (Kim Sa-Eun, apollox)
- 119 balls (Den, Leopar, SGD-Fan)
- 57 boots (Den)
- Facial Structure (Den, apollox)
- Goalkeeper Gloves (Leopar)
- 19 Generic Goalkeeper-Kits (Markus)
- Kit Shadow (Den, apollox)
- Lightning (apollox)
- Linesman Flags (apollox)
- 14 Mowing Pattern (junjoong, apollox)
- 22 Nets (Apollox, Regularcat)
- 11 Referee-Kits (DaKaTotal, apollox)
- Stadium Tunnel (apollox)

You have just to download the .zip packages, go to the options-tab in the FHL-Switcher and click on import.
Then all the graphics will be included in the FHL-Switcher.

Have fun with the packages and a big thanks to the owners for the permission to publish the packages.

Why, after installing graphic patch I cannot change my scoreboards and popups anymore? The ESPN remains even if I install any other scoreboard or popup.... :facepalm:

First, try to delete old scoreboard in CM, then import new one.

In that assets folder I have four folders, "banners", Heads_pc", "kits" and "stadiums" plus 10105 big files.

that is strange, then install the patch manually.

Sorry, looked at the wrong pc... :blush: I have laptop and desktop you see, and in laptop I didn't have NG2010 installed yet. But in my desktop... there is a folder "back" with 13 bigs in it.

players tend to dissapear man while im using the patch, they appear and dissapear.

altough the fps are really good now, but this issue of players dissapearing and appearing is frustrating. how can it be solved ?

It is difficult to say, because I do not have the problem.
But when you say me some more details, when it happens, especially ingame or in cinematics and which camera position you use, maybe with screen of the camera position, then I think I can find the problem and a way to fix it.

I have change the links, because I fixed in the update the problem with the players, or better say I hope that I fixed it, because I did not have the problem

I have it too when using widescreen. Players come and go every now and then. What did you do?

Hey there!!! first of all...THANX for this amazing patch...it gave me a new whole experience with my fifa10....just one little problem...game "stutters" when im playing...it ocurrs when im close to any of penalty areas in every match i play...i dont think is a video card problem or lack of memory issue (below r my comp specs :)) so i think its a patch bug or somtheing....anyway Can u tell me how can i solve this? Sorry if this is a stupid question but i've installed the patch (Wonderful effort by the way (Y), i always disliked how FIFA 10 looked on PC but thanks to you now i love it) successfully however that update you added was that part of what was on the first page as well or is it completely separate (Different/new) from the first page. Im extremely wary of installing things because of how long it took me to figure it out and get any sort of patch working in the first place :P

EDIT: Nevermind i installed it and it works flawlessly, once again thank you for the awesome patch.
