I have just purchased my copy of Fifa 2001 and played 13 games. The gameplay has truly been improved. Goalkeepers do play better. The game really plays well in the slower mode and yes there is a shooting power bar. Initially, it was hard to play even in profesional mode. It took me about 7 games to get the hang of it. The highest score I have achieved so far was only 3-0. Maybe, I'm just not up to the mark. Overall, it is as promised.
