I think that the pitch size is fine in FIFA 2001 based on the videos HOWEVER if you look closely, you will notice that the players ARE NOT spaced out enough as they would be in a real soccer game, this will result in many people complaining that the pitch size is still too small. Having all the players so close to eachother still makes for a crowded field.

I actually don't think that the pitch size in Fifa games is too small, but rather the scale of the players is too big. If you take a close look and compare the players to the size of the pitch, the players are really all like 10-12 feet tall.

exactly i noticed that too. if you look at the pitch size it looks like it is been stretched out but the players are so close to each other. i don't know man that really bothered me a lot.
but we will know soon.

I really agree with you guys.However, there's space on the sidelines and if the through pass works like on iss the game will be perfect.

I think the pitch needs to be bigger although I never bought fifa 2000 , I am very dissapointed about everyones "take" on fifa 2000.
If u dont want it to be that boring and wasting alot of money just buy the games like I did.
I bought fifa RTWC98 and I didnt buy 99 or 2000 for pc (although) I bought fifa 99 for N64 (the games was ok).

If u dont want to get tired of the fifa series just do that...(For Instance if u c that the "take" on fifa 2001 is bad, then wait 1 or 2 years for fifa 2002 or fifa 2003.

yar, i agree with u guys, but hey, why not ask the EA guys and create space for players to run down the sidefields and onside the pitch, oerhaps this might increase the space for players to run. Moreover, i also feel that the players are a bit out of size if you compare them with those spectators in the stands. But one thing is certain, the players are running too fast. A player can run from one end of the field to the other end in seconds, well that might be too out of mind...
