In a footie video game it "Enances" since it makes the kit more identifiable i.e the pic of Juventus player for the PS2. In real Clubs it can go either way... The only exception would be for National sides since the kits are representing their respective flag's colors (in most cases)...

Certainly degrading:

Take Barcelona for a example - no sponsor logo ever

Lack of a sponsor logo indicates that the club is popular and strong enough so as to support itself on its own. I also believe it is a shame for the team logo and jersey - usually a historical, glory-carrying symbol for each club - to appear with an irrelevant sponsor logo on it.

It depends on the circumstances. Some teams look good with sponsor logos and some don't.

Name me one sponsor logo that enhances the shirt!

No never never never, if there was a football god he would make a law no more sponsor logos! These things are a disgrace and don't think this was the way always, the whole thing with the sponsor logos started in the 70s.

Also I suggest if you want to support your team, don't but the ugly one with the sponsor logo, but get the replicas of the classic 70s era, logo-less shirts of Juve, Man U etc.
