Hi,
I have just installed FIFA 2001 on my PC (Win 2000).
My problem is that as soon as I start the game (after the team selection), the display flickers and it is impossible to play.

As recommended in the readme.txt file of FIFA2001, I have downloaded the latest drivers for my display and video card, but it did not help.

My system configuration is:
Processor: Intel PIII 450Mhz
RAM: 64MB
OS: Windows 2000
Display adapter: ATI RAGE PRO TURBO AGP 2X
Monitor: Princeton AGX 700

The "3D setup" option of the game is set to: "RAGE PRO TURBO AGP 2X" with 1024x768 resolution.

Does any one know what might be the problem, and how to solve it?

No-it is not related to the cell phone. The screen flickers all the time.

My assumption is that the problem is a configuration problem related to the display/video card, but since I have upgraded these drivers, I do not understand why it still happens.

I don't know much about Radeon. But get the latest drivers and tweak from www.m3dzone.com (http://www.m3dzone.com) . To stop tearing(not sure if it's YOUR flickering), enable VSYNC
