I am thinking about getting myself a microsoft sidewinder or gravis gamepad, because in all earlier versions i just used my keyboard, but since you have to be a pianoplayer to be able to make the moves and my last keyboard couldn't even handle the few times i used it to play Fifa2000. I think a joystick is nicer to play with and that fifa2001 is worth getting one. What do you think?

i have the Microsoft sidewinder and it is great. You will be able to play better with a joystick much better for sure.

I have been playing fifa with keyboard ever since the FIFA 98. Let me tell you, keyboard rules over the joypad anyday. I challenge any of you joypad players in FIFA 2001. Heh, and you do not have to be a piano player to get the controls down. With the keyboard you can pull off plays much faster (at least that is what i believe).

I used to think the same way you do when i used the keyboard, but then i got a Microsoft Sidewinder - it kicks ass big time, everything is better, its far easier to use than a keyboard.

i don't believe this people are using the keyboard. no offence but keyboard is for typing guys. try a joystick, and soon as you get used to it then you will see how it feels playing a soccer game.

Personally speaking till about a year ago I use to use a pretty standard joystick but for the last year or so I have been using the MS Sidewinder Pro. Man it took time to get use but now its all I use and highly recomend it.

why is this question floating around twice.. anyway as i said before... ms gamepad is the best way to play fifa. i especially like it for the fact you can plug up for friends straight onto the pads instead of having to need extra gameports on your motherboard.

yo peeps, everybody has his own opinion but i gotta tell you that i still haven't found a better fifa 2k player than me (i don't usually brag but..) and i use KEYBOARD !!

and by the way i'm 1st in the UK Modem Ladder and have won every tournament i've played in so you may wanna reconsider how superior the Sidewinder is.
