i'm new to the fifa series and just bought 2001 yesterday. i was wondering 1) if more or less aggressive goalies are better, and 2) who the best goalies are (name and team). i'm also lacking high quality defenders. any recommendations there are also appreciated.

I always like aggressive goalies in FIFA 2001.

And Oliver Kahn is my favorite in the game. Im sure everyone will disagree with me. :D

In real live and in da game. Aggressiveness depends on what you prefer, Barthez is aggry, v.d. Sar is not, both are good.

Yeah, and who remember a moment in the Euro 2000 final France with Italy. When italian player(don't remember who) was running one on one to Bartez! And Bartez instead of trying to tackle a player, he yelled at him very very loud!!!!! :D :D :D . And the player stop and left the ball to Bartez, like a mouse running away from cat!! LOL. That was really funny :D :D :D

i think barthez is the best keeper in fifa2001...

the corniest thing Barthez did was trying to fool Paolo Di Canio that he was offside when he wasn't....

remember when he stood still and raised his right arm, simply letting di Canio to score one-on-one...the was CORNY~

Bathez is eccentric...but he isn't really the best goalkeeper i have to say...

I'm not sure but my picks are Barthez, Kahn and van der Sar.
