I wish fifa 2002 had the feature where the commentator calls your name when you edit one of the player names to your name. Well I asked my bro about it and he said it is impossible. But then how come that bonzie dude can pronouse user's name? I think ea should hire that dude who programmed that bonzie dude. :p

For the commentator to call out yer name in the game you'd have to let the commentator run down all the names in the world...that Bonzi buddy has a very clever system which simply just repeats the name you entered.
It is impossible to type the name and let the commentator say it in the game but what you could do is say your name, and the name you said will be used in the game.
This does take an awful lot of programming though!

On the other hand the system they used in NHL2001 is a possibility.In NHL2001 they just preprogrammed some of the more popular names and when you select that name it will be used in the commentary, this is pretty limited though

Also, all the names in NHL2001 are first names. Now how realistic is it that the commentator will be calling out the first name of the player for an entire match? With everything that everyone has already complained about FIFA2k1 this system just wouldn't appese(spelling??) them. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ;) :p

As long as Fifa2002 has good game play I won't whinge :)

Yes same here Phil, I'm hopping for a great game play where all the moves, fakes .... will feel like a real game waching on tv. That would be awsome, I will play it like crazy.

The German commentary is very boring. These guys don't have any emotions. I want a long loud "GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!" and not a short "Tor"
