I have noticed already on EA'S " matchup " for nhl 2001 that people are already modifying their teams and characteristics..I've already seen the NYI go from a 70's to 90 . I forsee it being next to impossible to play a fair game on the internet because everyone will have modified their teams. Unlike some games in nhl 2001 both people don't have to have the "exact" same rosters... For instance i could make tampa bay lightning have all the top players. The only way you can tell is if you remember the team rating.I doubt in fifa 2001 they will have team ratings. Probably more like the sliding bar's. I do believe if you find a good league you might be able to play fairly but i've found now 3 weeks later nhl 2001 is just filled with modified teams and players. Pointless to play it anymore "multiplayer" that is....

If EA would of done this right , they would of required both people to have the SAME rosters .But unfortunately in 1 vs 1 . One person can have 1 roster and the other person have another. Thats where the problems come in with the amount of Fifa data is altered with new kits etc..That won't effect the game in general but people opeing up players and teams and raising their stats will be a common place and downfall of a would be kick@#@ online game. Just like nhl 2001 would still be if it had some sort of roster matching check........................ Opinions?
