Well, about 4 months ago in my game, i signed a contract to join FC Utrecht from Newcastle Jets. But in that period that coach had a mass exodus of players and signed these real crap players on $20,000 contracts and a release fee of like $500,000. And in that period he manged to take out a 9mil loan and get relegated from the first division (Eredivisie) to the second div. And well i don't want to go any more lol, so what is the protocol to leave such a contract ?

A contract is a contract, my friend. I'm afraid there's nothing much you can do except for retiring, adding a new user and starting all over at a different club or resign at your first day in charge and wait unemployed for a club to come.

Haha reminds of the time I had an amazing run with Chelsea and agreed to join Sevilla at the end of the season because I wanted a new challenge and a. they had the best young player in the world and b. they offered me 20M for transfers.
I arrived in July to find out I had €0 to spend and the young pearl was living on a free.

As far as I know, you just can't cancel your contract in FM 2011 (http://fmcrowd.com). When you have been signed for a club, yo have to serve at least one season. Then you would get the chance to left the club. So, think twice before confirming a contract.

MODS CLOSE THREAD PLEASE
Why close the thread? If the thread has come to a natural end, no one will post in it. Closing it isn't necessary.
It annoys me when forums do that. The other one is when a really popular and topical thread is made a sticky...If it's that popular and topical, it will stay at the top by itself. Until it is no longer topical (in which case it shouldn't be sticky anyway). Sticky should be for things like announcements, that don't get replies, but need to be easily read.

Yeah true. Seems to still be attracting marginal amounts of interest. I notice you live in Australia, sorry for going of topic, but did you see Mathew Ryan's double save ? I think he is awesome.
