Luch Vladivostok from Russian 2nd division East Conference. It's a city on the very very very far east of Russia, where I lived. Luch was in Russian Premier league in 1993 along with our neighbor city Nakhodka. Nakhodka and my home city Vladivostok are 2 biggest Russian seaports on the Pacific ocean, located near the N. Korea border. And the two towns were represented in the Premier League! But, you know, a lot of teams did not like that (to fly 9 hours from Moscow to Vladivostok to play 2 games) so due to the referee-corruption (the ****er once made a "mistake" by at first giving us the trow-in, and after all the players ran tot he opposite half, he changed his decision, and Lokomotiv Moscow, which was the team were playing with, quickly played the trwo-in and scored a tying goal. The home corwd in my city was flattered, and the ref had to leave in company of policemen because he would get his ass kicked if he wouldn't. It eneded a tie, and we were short 1 point to stay in the RPL)

apart from that, I support all Russian clubs in the EuroCups, and sympathize many other clubs.

Also, I like a team Rotor Volgograd which is from RPL. They were runner-ups 2-3 times in RPL history, and once in 1995 they managed to upset Manchester United in the UEFA Cup (2:2 on the road). This team strongly relies on home talent (0 foreigners not only from the outer world, but also 0 from ex-USSR countries). These guys had Veretennikov, you might have heard of him, he was the best goalscorer of RPL history, over 100 goals, he plays in some belgian club now, he moved to Aris before that, but it did not work out for him. He scored a goal in Manchester in 1995. Also, their Attacking midfielder Krivov was second midfielder this year after all-mighty Titov, and Krivov recently moved to Gaziantepspor (did I spell it right? http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif) Yet it doesn’t look like he helped his team (2 losses to Trabzonspor and Gala) but he is only 24 years old, and he will have his time. He said, btw, that he is impressed with the team and stuff, but he was concerned by ambitions of Gaziantep’s mayor who was the one who met Krivov after he came to Turkey. Krivov also says that Gaziantepspor is loved by the fans as about 25,000 fans per game come to see the matches. Also, in Gaziantepspor there are two Russians from Dinamo Moscow, a brazilian who played in Russia and a Belarussian forward who just joined. i am a Gaziantepspor fan also, cause Gaziantep beat besiktas and fener this year and last year, thats why. and gaziantep is a nice well respected club in turkey. they r 4th on the turkish table.

yesterday gs faced gaziantep in istanbul with out any fans. cause the fans were banned from last weeks big clash between gs and fener which the gs fans through alot of these celebration flares on the field and the game had to delay 11 min. any way this week gala beat gaziantep 2-0 with empty stadium, and it was interesting watching a soccer game with an empty stadium. gaziantep played better to tell u the trueth but missed alot of goals. gala thanks to jardel and arif went 2-0 over gaziantepspor.

this is interesting:
without the fans, the ref was very accurate with his calls, cause of no noice and cheering. the referees did not get distracted with an empty stadium. can u believe it man

MANCHESTER UNITED!!! I've been a Red Devil since I was four years old (1984) and have stuck with them through the bad times and of course am revelling in our brilliant era at the moment! But it's all tempered with the realisation that every team is overtaken sometime, look at Liverpool and Ajax, or even Barca. Even though I think we'll dominate England again this year, Another Treble perhaps? maybe but Madrid are looking awesome at the moment (on our day we can beat anyone, but in the Champions League we're still inconsistant.

I have now even resorted to turning off the Denver Broncos (this regions religion) to watch any coverage of the EPL and Serie A. By the way Major League Soccer Sucks! I went to a Colorado Rapids game after I was in Rome and saw a Lazio match and the Mls game was sooooo boring and flat. NO ATMOSPHERE! No wonder people in this country dont like soccer. There is no passion in the fans or the players.
